I dealt with a major labor supplier (FKTC). Worked on a backlog of timesheets and setting up new procedures for timesheet review and acceptance of invoices. Set up spreadsheets to record names, trades, days and hours worked / claimed. Entered cost data, reviewed with subcontractor and eventually agreeing invoice totals. Reviewed and successfully answered contractual enquiries; terms and conditions with the labor subcontractor.

I was made responsible for heading a team solely set up to work on a new Labor Master Agreement at the 'C' Sites. Preparation work involved agreeing to the wording of the Master Labor Agreement, setting up new bid tabulations; send out RFP's and responding to subcontractor queries. This work is ongoing.

I was recently transferred to Mosul to help them with their Master Labor Agreement. Two bidders have been selected and interviewed. Awaiting a decision from management before Award.

I was awarded the KBR gold coin by Mr Remo Butler for good work and achievement. This was for the work and the achievements I have had with our current labor contractor (FKTC).

My experience before KBR was more involved with contractual enquiries. I was responsible for costing and agreeing contractual variations and monthly paperwork including forecasting costs and liabilities. Although similar to Subcontracts Administrator the work was more contractually based. I have worked a lot with Labour Suppliers and I enjoy this type of work and any interaction between the Quantity Surveyor (subcontracts admin) and the Subcontractors.

Oct 2003 – Oct 2004 Nishimatsu Construction – Dublin Port Tunnel (6 month Contract which last one year)

I worked mainly with small, medium and large labor suppliers and a haulage contractor. I was responsible for monthly valuations, payment certificates and handling RFP's, monthly reports and answering contractual enquiries and written contractual negotiations.

I worked on a Glasgow School project. Scheduling out maintenance tasks and revising timesheets. Completing an audit and submitting a report to Procom for insertion in a report to their Client.

Dealing with weekly paid labour; environmental; surfacing; traffic management; soil stabilisation and testing subcontracts. I was responsible for processing labour only time-sheets; payment certificates and forecasting subcontract liabilities. Form of Contract: NEC.

This project involved removing an existing roundabout. The installation of 5 way traffic lights; re-routing services; earthworks; procurement and maintenance of sub-contracts; dealing with daily RFI's and incorporation and costing of CVI's; attending weekly site meetings; producing monthly application to the Engineers; valuation of sub-contractor's; reporting monthly liabilities. Contract: Highway Method of Measurement – re-measurable.

I attended day release training with a local firm who were engaged on a dry lining contract at the Scottish Widows building in Edinburgh gaining valuable re-measurement and take-off skills.
