* Directing and guiding the activities of two mine maintenance supervisors and two shop supervisors, office supervisor and warranty assistant.

* Reviewing cost estimates for the tasks and project with customers, field and shop suprvisors, planners and parts inventory analysts.
* Monitoring the actual maintenance activity and comparing to the action plan (includes failure analysis, preventive and predictive maintenance planning).
* Obtaining or requesting additional resources when required to complete priority work.
* Taking responsibility for hiring and maintaining of the shop/ field staff and labour team to support the equipment service. Currently 38 H/D mechanics, welders and labourers ( unionized workforce)..
* Participating in regular meetings between Coneco-Komatsu team and our customers.
* Maintain mobile fleet of 25 plus full size service trucks and conduct regular review of their condition, level of tooling and safety.
* Together with Parts Department Manager participating in monitoring recommend spare parts list (RSPL) for submission with machine quotes to improve equipment repair downtime.
* Coordinate cross training, training of new employees, mentoring, and overall coaching of my team.
* In some special projects - assisting in developing the plan, identifying the required repair materials, labour, tooling, equipment and also repair, scheduling and safety procedures.
* Participating in regular weekly management meetings with department managers.

* Helping Komatsu and CNRL (Canadian Natural Resources Limited) to build up new inventory in new warehouse and establishing the replenishment plans required support current and future maintenance requirements (Spare Parts Plan and Repair and Maintenance Program- RAMP) at the Fort McMurray Oil Sand Horizon Project; all was done during North Alberta winter, during construction phase (no heat and power).
* Assisting Komatsu in establishing replenishment plans required to support current and future maintenance or project activities.
* Planning & evaluating the daily operations with CNRL planners, warehouse personnel and Komatsu technicians.
* Full inventory control (perpetual).
* Resolving service and parts related problems, submitting progress, and other reports.

I know how to use Internet fluently as well as intranet-supported catalogues, price lists, e-mail service.
During work at Ekati Diamond Mine I had a chance to attend all obligatory tests and courses and developed high research capabilities online and in libraries.
I have gained a lot of knowledge there about the process of parts and service operation at sub arctic environment. I have learned how difficult and complicated even the simplest task becomes, in such remote and harsh location; I have learned there how to deal safely with all the problems and challenges that come with such conditions. I am capable of achieving job expectations with minimal supervision.
In previous years, I graduated also at A.D.P. Special Order Request Class and Parts Inventory Class. I have finished all 1999 Nissan University courses and all the parts courses from Volkswagen of America. I was also participating in arctic surviving training and "multicultural understanding and practice" classes in Yellowknife and lately series of "Leadership for Supervisors" courses in Fort McMurray and Edmonton.
MY LIFE
It is regrettable but there is never enough time for a major hobby in Fort McMurray, but I still can find some time for sport activities. I am good swimmer and I run or use my bicycle almost every day. I read a lot and I am interested in social issues and politics, new technology and computers. I like to learn and I seek new challenges in my occupation. I am not afraid to look for new ideas and possibilities to improve my work place and myself.
Last April I volunteered at Canadian Red Cross Society and I was accepted as a logistics assistant in CRC Relief efforts. I am waiting for the first training organized by CRC in Western Canada.
I am a team player and I enjoy working with people. I have high work ethics and consider myself to be well organized and dedicated to customers and coworkers needs. I am open-minded and I like discovering the values and customs of other cultures or nations.
