Job description:
* Responsible for the project engineering support of various projects from conceptual and detailed design stage through fabrication, installation, performance testing and hand-over to operations.

* Manage the assigned budget, procurement and schedule for various projects in respect to cost and schedule as well as providing early warning of potential slippage, in the case of the latter, propose remedial actions so that the contract completion data for the work is not jeopardised.

Job description:
* Establishing the Bonga projects control baseline plan suitably scaled in time and cost to the specific complexity of the project and based on assessed risk factors (financial opportunities and exposures)
* Analyze and evaluate the tender budget in respect to the baseline schedule of the project group activities
* Determined the cost control key risks in respect to the material market price developments, Price escalation of vendors and subcontractors, Changes in scope of work and Currency exposure
* Identify and assess the complexity factors of the Project (size, risk areas, contract type, client's control requirements) through a deep analysis of the contract, the commercial budget bids, the execution plan and the risk analysis set out in the proposal phase.
* Establish the project resources and organisation baseline plan (skills, manpower, procedures and cost plan) needed to achieve the control strategy an incorporate any changes into the project cost plan in respect to scope, cost and time.
* Establish the overall project breakdown structure and relevant coding system to meet all Shell contractual control requirements (calculate updated project programs in respect to budget and forecast, WBS structures, financing constraints etc) and to ensure that cost control and scheduling systems are compatible
* Initiates and coordinate the preparation of the contract master schedule and internal control budget, payment milestone and cash flow.
* Specify the project control requirements to subcontractors and main packages suppliers to be included in the bid proposal documents in order to maintain a close control of progress, schedule and performance.
* Maintenance of the project control cost plan during the execution phase and analysing the actual cost of works performed in respect to the budgeted cost of work scheduled while identifying the variance between the budgeted cost of works performed in respect to the budgeted cost of works scheduled as to identify the schedule and cost over and under-run of the project.
* Reporting and advising the project manager on the overall financial trend and constrains within the project financial scope while carrying out ad hoc analysis at interval for the budget owner (project manger)
* Responsible for the development and maintenance of all aspects of internal control environment (credit, disbursements, receipts, etc) and production financial statements and commentary on timely basis.
* Responsible for all voyage and commodity accounting and preparation of year end audit. Support schedules and primary contact for audit staff during fieldwork.
* Responsible for the monthly financial and management reporting of the project towards the client and the financial director and initiating and the financial close-out of the project.
