SKILLS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Project Management
Performed project management duties on various projects including power, water and wastewater treatment, and general industrial construction. Duties included manpower allocation, scheduling, cost control and cash flow analysis (baseline costing), strategic planning, risk management, acquisition management, project execution plans, change control, and earned value management. Other duties included value engineering, and estimating and supervising engineering detailing for civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines, and facility commissioning.
Also performed construction management duties on projects, including conceptual estimating, bid package preparation, bid procurement and evaluation.
Project Size: $1 to $700 million; total value of all construction projects in excess of 2 billion dollars:
Anheuser Busch, Bakersfield, California - Yeast Plant Modification
Arizona Public Service Company, Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Phoenix, Arizona - 90 MGD Advanced Waste Treatment Facility and Pipeline
Bright Methodist Church, Bright, Indiana - New Church Construction
Clermont County Sewer District, Clermont County, Ohio - 14 MGD Municipal Waste Treatment Facility
General Motors Corporation, Hydramatic Transmission Facility, Three Rivers, Michigan - Industrial Stormwater and Wastewater Treatment Facilities

Consulting
Served in both project management and consultant capacities for clients in water and wastewater treatment plant design; hazardous and mixed waste evaluation and treatment, including remedial investigation/feasibility studies, remediation and waste minimization; and hazardous material evaluation including material safety data sheet preparation, personnel training, and hazard labeling.
Performed extensive regulatory interpretation and implemented compliance procedures including facility audits for existing environmental regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, SARA, TSCA, NEPA, CWA, CAA, SDWA, FIFRA, OSHA, and 10 CFR 20 & 50). These procedures also entailed state regulations for Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Florida.
Conducted investigations and prepared emergency planning documents as required by SARA Sections 311, 312, 313 and NUREG 0654.

Field Engineering
Acted in a field engineering capacity for different types of environmental activities including water and wastewater treatment plant optimization, chemical polymer evaluations, and process mechanical equipment erection and start. Other activities included air pollution testing for particular matter, SO2 and NOx as required by EPA Methods and ASME Test Codes, water sampling by composite analysis and other methods, and sewer infiltration studies using dye analysis. EPA-contracted studies were performed for various types of petrochemical facilities to determine total pollution loads (air, water, and solid waste) by material balance calculations for preliminary process design and federal environmental regulation promulgation.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
