Working Experience:
1. Presently working as Operation-In-Charge of Matco Enterprise. A manpower exporting house with an average dispatch of 3000 people per month with an estimated turnover of 3.6 billion BDT (36 Million GBP) in seven different countries. Also done tender submission in recent telecommunication bidding for ICX and IGW floated by BTRC (Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission). Currently designing a training center for Human Resource Development in Civil Construction and electro-mechanical skill training with an investment of 90 million BDT and also developing a project to set up a multi recreational hotel facility in Cox's Bazar with an estimated cost of 150 million BDT. (GBP 1 = BDT 100)
2. Have worked as free lance consultant to create export market for tobacco and glass for Nasir Group of Industries.
3. Worked as a Chief Coordinator and finished the whole design, infrastructure, Communication, and human resource of a Call Center for the first of its kind in Bangladesh with a capacity of 50 seats with 24 hours operation. This call center required a huge integration of software called FIVE9 (www.five9.com) as well as the protocol of VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol).
4. Working as the Managing Director of Warda Textile Mills Ltd. With a work force of 80 people from 2000 to 2004. Looking after overall operation of the whole organization viz., import, export, procurement, production, planning, management, finance, marketing, human resource, product and design development etc. Have an in-depth knowledge of Human Resource development, market analysis, production planning, developing strategic business unit for home and aboard, supervising the day to day operation for smooth operation of the organization. Design and develop product for both local and foreign market. The product lines consist of different type of natural and artificial fabric.
5. Worked as CEO of ark-dhaka-net an ISP (Internet Service Provider) from 1997 till mid of 2000 with a work force of 37 people. Over all operation of the whole organization. Being a technology intensive operation acquired sufficient knowledge in Internet and networking (DSL, Broad Brand, Radio Link, VSAT etc connectivity), along with telecommunication related to internet (VOIP).
6. Worked as the CEO of Ark Trade Services from 1994 to 1997 with a work force of 7 people. Looking after import and export and marketing. The main import line consist of IT products such as motherboard, Video Graphics card, Processor, RAM, FDD, HDD, UPS etc. (acquired huge knowledge in hardware of computer) along with consumer product such as cane coke, Biscuits, Fresh Fruits etc. Along with proper marketing and distribution of the imported products. Export line mainly of Tobacco. Have an extensive knowledge of middle-east market along with African market about tobacco. Have acquired a wide knowledge of export market in different countries and also developed the expertise in Banking related to import and export. Also have sufficient knowledge in international tender documentation and participation. Also acquired micro credit system as introduce the consumer credit scheme for Computer in the local market.
7. Worked as a Management Trainee in BEXIMCO one of the biggest conglomerate in private sector in Bangladesh from 1992 to end of 1993. Looking after the procurement of order from abroad and local buying houses for the export oriented garments industry of Beximco named as Comtrade Apparels Ltd. Also have a good working knowledge of merchandising and production as far as woven shirt is concern. Handled buyers such as JC Penny, C&A Mondial, Capital Mercury, Wall Mart, K-Mart etc.
Traveling Experience:
So far visited the following countries for different purpose of import (Meeting with new suppliers finding better source of procurement) and export (Developing new market and meeting new buyers): India, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, UAE, Jordan, Switzerland, England, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Germany, Luxemburg, Italy, Spain. Iraq, Indonesia etc.
