The EPIC Work Program consisted of 3 Main Packages:
Work Package 1 – Subsea Production System
Work Package 2 - Flowlines, Riser Systems, SSIVS & Umbilical Installation
Work Package 3 - Topside Modifications at Offshore Operation Platform DP4
Main Activities related to all above Packages:
- Post-award formulation, preparation, completion of appendixes and addendums in order to issue the final version of Contracts for all 3 Packages.
- Preparation of Milestone Payment Certificates based on Contract Work Progress and its compliance with the CONTRACT EXECUTION PLAN.
- Justification of Variation Order Requests raised by Contractors regarding their conformities with all Contract stipulations being in force.
- Daily responsibility for all commercial activities and preparation of Monthly Management Reports including Cost Control.
- Coordination, monitoring and assistance in preparation, as necessary, all external correspondence to Contractors in line with the approved signatory levels and delegations of authority.

Activities and Responsibilities:
Arrangement, Managing and Coordination between Consortium Project management and ARAMCO Project Management all matters and issues of Project activities in respect of Field Engineering Works, Procurement, Subcontracting, Cost Control and Overall Project Saudization Monthly Reporting including but not limited to:
- Answering Change Order Request clarifications in cooperation with Project Supporting Engineering Team, Subcontracting Department and Consortium Site Managements
- Evaluate the received Change Order Works Measurements, Bill of Quantities and Cost Estimate for purpose of final elaboration and issue of Consortium Change Proposals and submittal to Customer
- Preparation of Consortium Change Order requests to SAUDI ARAMCO based on changes introduced into Project Program and as requested/imposed by the Customer; obtaining the required approvals for further coordination and follow-up.
- Proceeding with Consortium Change Proposals (for IK – Inside Kingdom Changes and Modifications into Project Scope of Works) and Purchase Orders (for OOK – Outside of Kingdom Changes and Modifications into Project Scope of Works) within ARAMCO Site Management and Consortium Financial Authority
- Revision and Verification of Subcontractors Change Orders; checking of compliance of Subcontractor Invoices with the Project Requirement and Subcontracts Documents and Specifications and its supporting with all necessary evidence documents like timesheets, materials Site receipts, technical certificates etc
- Drafting Contract correspondence in English
- Maintain Cumulative Value of issued and completed Change Proposals for each Subcontractor and ensure the Change Orders are strictly proceeding with Project Rules and Regulations
- Review and Approve Subcontract Payments related to the issued and completed Change Orders and pass for payment following the ARAMCO procedures in this respect
- Negotiate and agree with ARAMCO any variations and amendments to the issued Subcontracts and Change Orders
- Maintain and update on regular base the Change Order Register for both i.e. IK and OOK Parts of WIPS Project
- Elaboration and Presentation of the Overall Monthly Saudization Report (for total project Subcontractors and Consortium personnel in range between 2,600 – 3,200 employers) and submission to ARAMCO with the respective analyses and prognosis. Elaboration and issue the Saudization Deduction Reports resulted from non-completion of Saudization requirement
- Proceeding the Final Account Certificates with all Subcontractors
- Final Settlement of all subcontract matters after works completion
