Responsible for the execution of multiple awarded contracts for the renovation of five (5) maternity and pediatric hospitals in Iraq according to internal practices and Federal Accounting Regulations, with oversight by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Responsible for the administration of project controls and management of contracts including the supervision of all engineering and field activities of civil and mechanical subcontractors.

Project: Union Camp – Savannah, GA. - $80mm CM Pulp and Paper Plant
Managed the field and administrative aspects of mechanical contracts from bid cycle to contract closeout.

Project – DuPont, Gummidipoondi, India - $43 EPC Fibers Project
Responsible for the supervision of seven (7) superintendents of all the major disciplines and approximately 45 subcontractors along with cost and schedule performance control.
Construction Quality Management.
Project: Eastman Kodak – Kingsport, TN. - $220mm EPC Chemical plant.
Formulated project procedures manuals and project execution plans. Prepared project quality plans to meet ISO 9000 requirements and developed, tracked, and trended measurements relative to cost, schedule, quality, and safety. Utilized TQM techniques.
Cost Engineer.
Project: Mobay Chemicals – Goose Creek, SC. - $340mm EPC Chemical Plant.
Supported on site cost department by calculating, tracking, and trending performance factors and presenting cost data and analysis at weekly and monthly project management meetings.
Journeyman Pipefitter.
Project: G.E. Plastics – Burkeville, AL.
Responsibilities on this $400mm chemicals and plastics project were those associated with a journeyman pipefitter.
1980 – 1987 Employment consisted of working for various construction firms performing carpentry and labor foreman type duties on commercial, institutional, and residential projects to include a court house, jailhouse, 12 story office building, restaurant, state park, and public housing facilities in an effort to support college funding.
