SUMMARY OF QULIFICATIONS
* More than fifteen years of experience in providing Construction Supervision to Roads/Bridges projects.
* Manage and supervise the field construction monitoring activities of different Highways and Bridges erection, removal and rehabilitation. Operations include bridges decks, bridges steel structures, abutments, piers, approach slabs, joints, barriers, Asphalt, Bituminous and reinforced concrete pavements and overlay and related base, subbase, longitudinal and transverse joints, saw cutting, drilling, grouting, milling, post tensioned precast concrete units, excavations, pile foundations, guide railing, pavement marking stripes drainage structures, sidewalks, driveways, fences, overhead sign structures and underground utilities, landscaping, environmental protection, overall job SAFETY, paint removal, waste disposals, Lead and Asbestos exposure protection, highway closures and traffic protection and night time operations.
* Reviewing and approval of progress and final estimates (payments).
* AASHTO, British Standards and state and federal regulations compliance.
* Daily work reports (DWRs) review and approval.
* Working with projects design teams to modify problems encountered.
* Overseeing & coordinating the review of contractor technical submission, shop drawings
* Field Change orders technical features and approval.
* Reviewing, evaluating and approving of Construction material testing.
* Reviewing of Contract schedule and participating in work plan input.
* Monitoring the performance of subordinates (inspectors and technicians.)
* Representing Employer at technical meetings and meetings with the community, politicians and other agencies.
* Reviewing, monitoring and approving implementation of Safety plans and regulations.
