Construction of track work on Taiwan high-speed rail

Also evacuation procedures for all personnel involved in tunnel work, which included the use of breathing apparatus in case of fire. Use of Tunnel boring equipment: - required safety systems for train operations in and out of the boring machines. Prohibiting personnel access to working machinery such as the segment erector. Monitoring permit to work systems for Electrical and Hot works within the tunnels.
Assessing the risks involved in rail track laying within the tunnel. Mostly laid by hand. Hand Tunnel - assessing risk to hearing from noise, with construction plant.
Cut and cover tunnelling and assess the suitability of systems such as the NATM method and overseeing the Safety involved in lifting tunnel segments into place. Daily safety inspection.
