JOB OBGECTIVE:
A professional Management level position in the field of engineering.
PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY:
More than fourteen years of professional experience including six years of Saudia as Instrument engineer, Electrical engineer, Superintendent Electrical & instrumentation, Manger plant maintenance and Project Manager in the field of maintenance, construction and technical support services.
Maintenance:
* Preparation of maintenance procedures for plant preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance.
* Preparation of maintenance schedules for plant preventive maintenance.
* Preparation of daily, monthly, yearly and five year corrective maintenance schedule for plant.
* Preparation of daily, monthly, yearly and five year plant maintenance budget for all kinds of maintenances.
* Ensure the all resources as material, manpower to carry out maintenance activities.
* Monitor the maintenance activities and ensure the implementation of maintenance and safety procedures.
* Generating progress reports daily, monthly, yearly and five year for all kinds of maintenance activities.
* Evaluating the plant maintenance crew and submit recommendations.
Construction:
* Site survey and study of the tender documents.
* Estimate the material, erection hardware, manpower and other resources for completion of job.
* Preparation of technical proposal (bill of quantity (BOQ), project schedule, quality plan, safety plan, method of job execution, installation, calibration and commissioning procedures)and commercial proposal(proposal of quantities and prices) for biding the job.
* Design the specifications for the material requirements.
* Design and engineering of the project by preparing G.A, hoop up and loop drawings.
* Ensure all resources in time to execute the project.
* Co-ordinate with client and various vendors in day to day project matters.
* Monitor the actual execution (Installation, calibration, integration test and commissioning) of the construction project.
* Generate reports for the progress of job.
* Supervise the preparation of drawings and manuals for the project.
* Make decisions regarding job hurdles and resolve the matters.
Technical support services
* Preparation of maintenance procedures, maintenance schedules.
* Evaluating the materials specifications.
* Developing packages and proposals for modifications and up gradations.
* Evaluating the contractor's submittals as drawings and proposals for new installations.
* Developing, introducing and implementing specific project quality procedures in frame work of ISO 9000 quality system procedures.
Supervising installation, calibration, testing and commissioning of process control and field instruments as DCS/SCADA system, PLC systems, analog and smart transmitters, PID controllers, pneumatic control systems, control valves, positioners, analytical instruments, vibration monitors, different types of flow, level, temperature and pressure controllers, monitors, transformers, electrical and control panels, motors, switchgears and etc.
Able to navigate through plant maintenance module (PM), Module of SAP R/3 version 4.6 creating notifications, entering field investigation and material requirements, converting notifications into work orders, entering components, entering operations, estimation of work order, planning of work order, scheduling of work order, completion confirmation of work order after work execution including maintenance problems and reasons.
Capable of assessment of risks involved and taking risk control measures as per PTWC (Permit to work certificate) requirements.
Authorized permit receiver as per Marafiq standards (Sabic &Armco).
Locating and rectification of electrical and control circuit faults by studying control loop and electrical drawings.

Position: Superintendent Electrical/Instrumentation (Department Head) & Maintenance Manager
Project profile:
Sea water cooling system the world's largest sea water pumping system and sodium hypo chloride plant.
This project pumps around 15 million cubic meter sea water and 35 MT hypo chloride per day to the major industries of Jubail industrial city. The plant is consisting of 28 pumps, 12 hypo chloride streams, two 16 MW gas turbines and canal system around 15km long for supply and return of cooling water with level, flow and water quality systems as major equipments. Other support facalities such as two 50T cranes, two 30T cranes, motor pole, HVAC, Electrical buildings, Fire and smoke alarm system and SCADA/DCS system.
Instrument department is responsible for protection, control and monitoring of all major equipments, support facilities and, DCS/SCADA system, which monitors and controls field parameters.
SCADA system comprised of 36 RTUS and 5000 I/Os spread over 15 km, divided in six communication networks, each network is consisting of six RTUS, each RTU is linked with other RTU by twisted lead pair cable in the network, mode of communication is multi-drop serial communication. SCADA system monitors level, flow, temperature, analytical reading such as PH, D O, Chlorine and Conductivity. The system monitors the parameters of major equipments of the plant such as voltage, current, vibration, temperature, wattage. System controls 4.16 KV 3000 amp vacuum circuit breakers, 400 amp vacuum motor starters, 25000 amps air circuit breakers, 1600 amp air circuit breakers.
Instrument department supervised the installation of the SCADA system, commissioning of the system and now responsible for recommissionings and maintenance.
Job responsibilities:
* Develop proposals and packages for system modifications and up gradations to improve the product quality.
* Develop the maintenance schedules, estimate labor and material cost, design the specifications of material for preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance of the plant browsing SAP maintenance, planning and material modules.
* Monitoring the actual execution of work and generating SAP reports for actual work progress.
* Ensuring ISO 9000 quality system and safety procedures.
* Assign field jobs for maintenance, modification, up gradation and new installations to department employees and evaluate the job quality and performance.
* Supervising the project design for all construction contracts including sea water expansion project to meet sea water cooling forecast demand.
* Review of contactor's technical submittals, drawings, design calculations and specifications for conformity with technical provisions of the contracts and resolve the field engineering problems.
* Monitoring contractor's construction activities, quality control, startup, commissioning, and conduct periodic QA/QC audits for active contracts.
* Technical evaluations of materials files, inspections of delivered material as per job requirements.
* Conduct periodic safety awareness meetings as per PTWC procedures

Project profile:
This project consisting of four water tube, gas fired boilers and three compound type, hydrogen cooled steam turbines as major equipments and other support facalities as force draught fans, induce draught fans, rah unit, feed pumps, acid flushing pumps, dearator pumps, condenser pumps, high pressure heaters, low pressure heaters, dc source and water treatment plant.
The total steam capacity of boilers is 1000T/H, the total generation capacity of plant is around 165MW.Instrument department is responsible for protection and controls of equipments, monitoring and controlling of all field parameters as per field requirements.
Job responsibilities:
* Involved in capital repairs of boilers and turbines, prepare work schedules, ensure material requirements, assign manpower and monitor actual execution of work.
* Involved in engineering of system and control design activities, preparing diagrams and specifications for control valves, analyzers, controllers, monitors, transducers and other field and process control instruments. Preparing maintenance schedules for preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance of plant instruments and monitoring the actual execution.
