QUALIFICATIONS
More than 25 years of experience constructing and maintaining industrial process facilities, power generating stations, steel mills. Responsible for piping and mechanical work from construction through flushing, cleaning and start-up at several facilities. Frequently responsible for start-up and running of mechanical equipment. Has been responsible for coordination of multiple sub-contractors with direct hire work forces on scheduled critical work. Hands on experience as a craftsman along with experience as a first level supervisor provides a strong base for planning and scheduling of day-to-day operations.
For 10 years, served as site manager for Nova Chemicals (formerly Huntsman Chemical Corp. in Belpre, OH). This assignment entailed managing a collective work force of craft labor in performing routine daily maintenance work, small capital projects and supporting planned and emergency shut-downs in a plant producing polystyrene. Also, well versed in craft management, labor relations, safe work practices/procedures and cost control procedures.
Having begun his career as a pipe fitter apprentice in 1975, then progressing upward as a journeyman, foreman, supervisor and site manager, Mr. Bennett has a broad background in the installations, repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of complex piping systems encountered in operating plants and industrial and fabrication environments.

500 MW COAL BURNING POWER PLANT
SEWARD, PA
Duties as piping superintendent include coordinating all piping activities with other crafts. This project is new construction of a coal burning power plant. Several contractors are working in same area requiring strict scheduling of day to day activities. This contractor is responsible for assembling the boilers, all associated high pressure boiler piping, steam drum, FBHE inlet and outlets. Installing the backpass and its piping, baghouse and its piping and equipment, limestone prep and all piping associated with this system.

Directly responsible for all piping activities on night shift. Selected piping systems worked were HRSG piping, STG piping consisting of all types of material, carbon steel, chrome, etc.
