SUMMARY
In 19 years since graduation I have gained a wealth of hands-on experience through a number of diverse projects in the construction industry (building and civil) as well as in the IT industry (design and implementation of information systems), in such capacities as designer, engineering manager, project manager, as both a consultant and an employee.
Formal studies in civil engineering, information systems, business management and project management have provided me with extensive technical and financial expertise together with proven planning, coordination and control skills.
In addition to strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, I have also developed good interpersonal and communication skills, commercial acumen, client management and negotiation dexterity, together with first hand awareness of workplace issues, such as OH&S requirements and quality practices.
As a self-starter I enjoy challenging tasks, where thinking outside the square is required, if not mandatory. In this respect, I endeavour to identify and address at the onset any potential problems, focussing particularly on the definition of requirements and the interface issues.
In conclusion, I would regard myself as a resourceful, multi-skilled and determined professional with comprehensive management ability.
