Responsible for all E.P.C. phases of a $250M, single shaft 500MW gas and steam turbine power project, including P&L, project reporting and client interface.
* Spearheaded initiatives to invoke safety awareness and incentive rewards, which reduced the projects standing safety performance to less than half the national average.
* Lead efforts, which were instrumental in the projects¡¦ achievement of working over 1M ¡* safe man-hours¡¨ without a lost time incident.
* Conceptualized and developed an interactive cost management system, which enabled real-time cost forecasting and trending data, identified and categorized cost drivers, provided critical information necessary to resolve reoccurring cost overruns and interfaced directly with the existing reporting structure.

AUSTIN COMMERCIAL, INC. / CHAPARRAL STEEL 1998-1999

Coordination Manager
Responsible for all E/I&C subcontracts during the design and construction of a $500M recycle steel mill. Initiation of bid packages, bidder selection, bid evaluation and award of subcontracts, negotiated changes, reviewed and approved progress payments, scheduling and field coordination.
* Worked directly with third party consultant to successfully re-structure the project schedule, which supported the contract completion dates, previously jeopardized by the existing schedule.
* Provided the essential details and logic necessary for proper management of the remaining activities.

DPR CONSTRUCTION, INC. / WHITE OAK SEMICONDUCTOR 1996-1998

Coordination Manager - Mechanical/Electrical/Process (MEP)
Directed the MEP coordination, methods and practices, during the design and construction of a $350M semiconductor facility. Reviewed and approved bid documents and contract proposals for all MEP subcontracts. Served as Subcontract Manager over the installation of the facilities Automated Control System.
* Developed and implemented an automated document control database, which minimized engineering efforts, reduced document control staffing needs and provided an accurate and timely distribution process.

SIEMENS POWER / BROOKLYN NAVY YARD CO-GENERATION LP 1995-1996

Site Manager
Managed technical support services and personnel during the construction, commissioning and closeout of a $290M power generation project.
* Developed and implemented a project controls database which provided a direct management interface for cost forecasting / trending and reduced potentials for overruns and related schedule impacts.

CENTURY CONTRACTORS / CENTRAL & SOUTHWEST, INC. 1992-1995

Contracts Manager/ Project Engineer
Overall management responsibilities for site engineering staff during design build phases, and close-out, of two power generation facilities valued over $120M. Subcontract coordination, scheduling, submittal reviews, billing approvals and change order negotiations.
* Initiated and designed an engineered equipment cross-reference database which reduced engineering errors, identified deficiencies between design groups and provided critical data for purchasing and receiving.
