Construction Management of all punch list items and warranty maintenance on the two (2) jobsites, including all personnel scheduling, supply chain management and man hour controls to ensure cost effective measures to keep both plants running and all repairs completed in a timely manner. Responsible for all inventory contol/administration for cycle counts, maintenance, storage, issue, returns and keeping inventory current for review on the computer material management system. Controlled all the hiring of personnel (both staff and craft), equipment rentals, & material usage on both locations which were separated by 200 miles.

Supported project management, engineering and sourcing while keeping very strong vendor contacts with, as required, trips to the vendor facilities to expedite critical path materials and inspect progress. Responsible for all inventory contol/administration for cycle counts, maintenance, storage, issue, returns and keeping inventory current for review on the computer material management system. Set up tool room and made capital tool purchases, also arranged all rental equipment for project. Ensured all documents, drawings, certs, and MSDS's were furnished with material.

Performed Stock Level Evaluations on existing materials and newly created stock items to determine stocking levels Min/Max. Reviewed Non-Stock requisitions to determine completeness for forwarding to Procurement Engineering for stock number assignment. Reviewed Stock Issue Requests to ensure needed expediting information was correct and in order before going to purchasing. Started evaluations on existing materials to determine if material could be salvaged due to site wide Stock Reduction Program that the plant is going into, must reduce from $58 mil to $38 mil this year and proposed another $10 mil next year. Completing and evaluating all stock requisitions for need and possible reduction of Order Points and Max Levels to save inventory costs. Also, during this time, Unit 1 was in a shutdown and I have been involved in BOM's and verifying CDER's for plant use of materials and I was responsible for all inventory contol/administration for cycle counts, maintenance, storage, issue, returns and keeping inventory current for review on the computer material management system.

WAREHOUSE SUPERINTENDENT Koch Petroleum Group, Corpus Christi, TX 5-1997 to 11-1999
Establish material handling procedures and process with client for turnarounds. Also, developed process for normal maintenance activities and day-to-day operations. Supervised 6 material handlers for $65 million dollar FCCU and all supporting plants, developed processes to deliver Bill of Materials, approved then ordered all materials, received, staged, issued and returned all controlled project materials. Was also responsible for all transportation from west plants storage area to east plant work area (very confined space) about 7 miles. All work on project was accomplished without material problems.
Chevron Shutdown Alliance, Chevron U.S.A., El Paso, TX – 2-1997 to 4-1997
Check materials purchased by Chevron and tag for EWO's. Stage material at unit for installation. Check and re-order materials for shutdown trailer to ensure material on-hand for shutdown completion. Review all EWO's to ensure all material needed has been addressed and either found on-site or ordered.

Chevron New Cogen Project, Chevron U.S.A., El Segundo, CA - 1995 to 1996
Provide overall management of warehouse and tool room personnel in material control functions. Ensure needed materials were available for piping, electrical, instrument and mechanical by procuring, receiving, storage and issuing of materials utilizing the Fluor Daniel GMS. Completed Cogen Project with no material problems utilizing a stand-alone GMS System, 6.41.

Duties included receiving, distribution, warehousing, inventory and expediting. Procurement of mechanical skids, responsible for project material distribution, establishment of warehouse layout and assisted in development of Bar Code System in support of GMS (Global Material System).

Receive, inspect and issue instrument and electrical materials. Inventory and material control through the use of Fluor Daniel Global Management System (GMS) computer system. Review and process incoming bill of materials for OS&D and resolve all problems with vendors and materials. Supervise and train warehouse personnel as necessary. Requisitioned, received, inspected and issued piping materials for use during shutdowns and for scheduled plant modifications.

TVA Watts Bar Nuclear Power Plant, Spring City, TN - 1992 to 1993
Review inventory of materials (Old Construction Warehouse) for identification for transfer and surplus disposition. This was accomplished by interfacing with site materials personnel and outside vendors. Prepared transfer documents to expedite transfer of materials. Prepared TVA electronic memos and associated forms for surplus process. Perform inventory, pull material and assemble lots for surplus sales. Assist in auctions by showing materials to potential buyers and escorting visitors. Handle surplus movements to other TVA organizations by preparing shipping documents and assisting in the load-out of materials. Supervised 5 full-time and 3 part-time warehousemen in their duties and to ensure that contracts were met on a timely basis.

Performed parts and component evaluations to establish and standardize technical and quality procurement requirements for the Plant Information Management System (PIMS). Evaluations consisted of reviewing items critical to function attributes, safety classification, maintenance requirements and parts equivalency. Completed storeroom reduction of construction materials that had been retained from Units 1 and 2, and dispositioned as to salvage or stock. Addressed storage requirements (storage levels and maintenance) for the items being transferred to stock.

Coordinated and expedited material requests and purchase orders based on the project needs for the I&C Planning and Scheduling group along with site warehouse personnel, ensuring that Critical Path Materials were staged for equipment maintenance or scheduled outages. Maintained Critical Items Requests (Requisitions/PO Logs). Determined start-up and operational spare parts while working with purchasing on expedites and other parts transfers. Determined if needed materials were presently on-site and the location thereof. Coordinated the receipts of Critical Materials for QC inspections and material releases. Involved with engineering evaluations of obsolete materials in order to update equipment to meet form, fit and function and not degrade systems.

Callaway Nuclear Power Plant, Union Electric, Fulton, MO - 1986
Completed inventory, identification and reduction of approximately 11,000 warehouse items left over from the construction of the facility and the cancellation of a second unit. Instrumented a computerized system to aide in the inventory and stocking of the warehouse. Established the construction warehouse to operational status. Warehouse was reduced from 350,000sqft to less than 200,000sqft and the lay-down yard from 60+ acres to less than 1 acre. Assisted in devising a cable reel storage system for use in the racks to store cable off floor space and for easy retrieval.
