* Develop with project manager a strategy for organizing the precommissioning and manpower allocation.
* Liaise with the E&I construction manager to establish an integrated approach to project completion and precommissioning.
* Monitor and co-ordinate with contractor's activities, review and comment on weekly construction reports.
DOCUMENTATION & REPORTING -
* Undertake a commissioning review of P&ID's prior to issue for construction (EPC Projects).
* Monitor the progress of document production by client and contractor in particular identification and definition of the systems required for precommissioning priorities.
* Lead preparation of commissioning procedures and methods, present case and methods to client.
* Assist in transfer of project emphasis to system priorities in timely manner and assist with organization of certification systems which will facilitate final hand over to clients smoothly.
* Co-ordinate precommissioning inputs to the lessons learned documentation and act as consultant on start up initiatives.

As Section Team leader for project & commissioning. Linde-KCA-Dresden GmbH is an Approved Bidding Contractor for UNIPOL PE process of Univation Technologies & UNIPOL PP process of The Dow Chemical Company. Here I am accountable for the effective application of technology on customer projects, like safety systems, control systems, detailed design documentation, implementing SABIC Standards etc. Also to perform satisfactory factory acceptance tests and ensure deficiencies are addressed. Also writing standard operating procedures for commissioning and smooth start up, checking interlocks and logics.
Mar 06 to April 07: Worley parsons, Australian Firm.

I was deputed to work for Qatar gas as Lead project engineer for Qatar projects under engineering services & thus worked for their ON shore facilities and modifications with OFF SHORE projects of expansions & addition of facilities which were running. Participate in all aspects of design and selection from initial feasibility and conceptual studies through to detailed engineering, fabrication & assembly, field installation & commissioning. Also studying Engineering service requests, minor modification reports and facility modification proposals & then issuing scope of work & sending reports for authorization for expenditures and send for bidding (ITT) and then making PEP ( Project execution plans) and issuing final feed documents. Checking feasibility studies, EPCM reports and FEED/DD summary and issue FMP or MMR. Define scope of work and issue proposals for bidding. I have worked on Glycol project; reclaimer -3 projects, PMP project (Plateau maintenance projects) and Qatar gas 1 modification in facilities as well as utilities. Manage a client project team in tender preparations, bid evaluation, selection of suppliers, input to FEED and conceptual studies, lead project issues and needs relating to the development, develop good vendor relationships, manage internal/external project teams, management of suppliers including for document review, factory inspections and tests, chair progress /technical meetings, liaison with design teams. Post installation follow-up with respect to warranties, performance, reliability, operational challenges. Technical coordination of the multiple components that comprise offshore platform; layouts, utilities, safety and environmental as well as the various engineering disciplines involved; Manage the appointed EPIC and service contractors through controlling expenditure, ensuring quality and HSE targets and meeting the projects schedule objectives through to start-up and handover.
