Summary:
Over 20 years experience in the coating's industry. I have extensive experience in supervision, project management, and inspection of coatings.
Projects include: Pipelines, Oilfield facilities, Marine facilities, refineries, chemical plants, and equipment. Blast yards ship yards, barges, offshore platforms and offshore drilling rigs, oil storage tanks, silos, clarifiers, heat exchangers, towers, boilers, heater stacks, flare stacks, vessels, knock out drums, pipes, and pipe racks, secondary containments, tank and vessel liners, Valves, well heads, offshore riser pipes, and blowout preventers, for offshore drilling rigs.
Coating's routinely used and inspections performed on: Zincs (epoxy, organic and inorganic), various epoxies, 100% Solids, Urethanes, Various non-skids including armor compound. Glass flake epoxy and fiberglass (chop and hand lay).
Experience in the operation and repair of: overhead cranes, forklifts, backhoes, Front end loaders, all heavy equipment, Air compressors, Spider's and spider staging, Airless pumps, 30:1, 45:1, 65:1, Plural Component and Conventional Spray Rigs, Wheelebrator?s, 6 bag pots, 6 ton pots.

Job Description:
Shaw Services L.L.C.
Coatings and Insulation Inspector for a fire rebuild project. Duties are performing surface contamination, surface profile inspection, checking weather conditions, ambient, humidity, dew point, and surface temp. Over see job planning and JSA"s. Fill out and file daily inspection reports, including dft readings, wft readings, experienced in working with dehumidifier's. Responsible for maintenance coatings in the pipe racks on pipe weld's and scratch marks. Tracking finished job applications.
Progressive Technical Services:
Project manager and Inspector for Offshore sandblasting and painting operation. Duties include: Safety, Sub Contractor management, Tracking, Expediting supplies and man power, tracking job cost, Inspection of coatings, and filing daily reports.
Protherm Services L.L.C.:
Supervision and Inspection. Abrasive Blasting and coating of interior and exterior of oil and gas storage tanks. Interior liners consist of the following, thin film phenolic, coal tar epoxy, hand laid and chopped glass fiberglass. Supervised blast and paint operations for Mobil /Exxon in various different jobs through out the plant. Including storage tanks lay down yards, exchangers and heat exchangers etc.Performed all safety, jsa, and daily reports.
Performance Blasting and Coating:
Supervision and Inspection. Abrasive blasting and coating of interior and exterior of oil and gas storage tanks. Interior liners consist of thin film, hand laid, and chop fiberglass. Supervised blast and paint operations for Premcor, and Premcor Pipeline, including numerous pipeline operations, marine operations, such as barges and drilling rigs. Performed daily safety and time reports, and painting inspection reports.
Meaux Services Inc.:
Supervision of blasting and painting operations of offshore rigs and platforms. Painting projects include blasting and coating of structure, process piping, production equipment, and heliport and deck structures. Filled out daily time tickets, inspection reports, and safety meeting and jsa reports.
Tipco Painting Co.:
Performed daily blast and paint projects. Projects include blasting and painting pipes and pipe fittings, and pipe racks, vessels, storage tanks and equipment, Tank interior liners consisting of, thin film, hand laid, and chop fiberglass. Performed inspection blasts on interior of exchangers, towers and vessels. Fill out inspection and safety reports.
Plant Painting and Maintenance:
Performed daily blast and paint projects. Projects include blasting and painting, pipes, pipe racks, vessels, storage tanks, and equipment. Cameron Iron Works:
Performed daily blast and paint operations on. Christmas tree wellheads, valves, Various wellhead spools, and fittings. Blasted and finish coat offshore deep water risers and blow out preventers, and make ready for shipment. Filled out paint, time, and shipping reports.

Supervision of blasting and painting operations of offshore rigs and platforms. Painting projects include blasting and coating of structure, process piping, production equipment, and heliport and deck structures. Filled out daily time tickets, inspection reports, and safety meeting and jsa reports
Transworld Drilling Co:
Started out as a roustabout, on a offshore deep water drilling rigs, my duties were helping to unload the supply boats, maintaining the rig, and assisting the drilling crew. Worked my way up to a derrick man and motorman in my length of time served with this co. My duties were to do maintenance on the fluid pumps, maintain the drilling fluid, and work in the derrick when pulling pipe out of the drilled hole, and running it back in the drilled hole.
Universal Maintenance and Construction:
Worked as a millwright's helper (apprentice) on a new Big 3 construction site. My duties were to assist the millwright in the following jobs. Help dial indicate pumps and motors, level out pump bases, do all maintenance on the machinery. Assist in assembling all the overseas turbines the were to be used in the plants operation. Help with assembly of all the Oxygen compressors and Gas compressors.
Hudson Engineering:
Worked as a millwright's helper on a new chemical plant construction sight. My duties were to assist the millwright in dial indicating pumps and motors, leveling pump bases, assembly of new steam turbines, gearboxes, and compressors.
