Responsibilities/ Achievements:
Working under the Victorian Work Cover legislation, I am responsible for the provision of occupational rehabilitation services to injured workers, employers and insurers. Services that I am responsible for delivering include workplace assessments, development of Return to Work Plans and delivery of cost effective case management to ensure sustainable Return to Work outcomes. Through this role I am also responsible for the provision of ergonomic assessments and training, delivering manual handling training, performing pre employment screenings and also conducting Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE).

Responsibilities/ Achievements:
Working fulltime I was responsible for the assessment, rehabilitation, and injury management of a wide and varied musculoskeletal patient caseload. I was responsible for the sole treatment/ management of 80-100 clients per week, providing education, advice and assistance to help them recover from varying musculoskeletal complaints. Over this time I also provided physiotherapy services to the local rugby, rugby league, surf lifesaving and soccer clubs which helped me to development and implement early intervention strategies around injury management.

Responsibilities/ Achievements:
Through my above role as a physiotherapist, I was also responsible for the assessment and implementation of activity based Return to Work Exercise Programs (Work hardening) for clients that had sustained a workplace injury and had been off work for longer than 3 months. This role encompassed initial assessments, functional testing and development of an appropriate exercise/ gym program to help prepare the injured worker to return to work.
