* Assisted with Business Development and market analysis for our potential business in Kazakhstan.
* Assisted in successful negotiations for the construction of a 58 kilometer offshore pipeline in the Russian sector of the Caspian Sea.
* Created the Project Execution Plan, Profit Plan, Cash Flow Analysis and Russian Taxation Plan for the Russian pipeline project.
* Established performance measurement procedures to track progress of actual results against the above plans.

* Successfully ensured compliance with accounting rules for off-balance sheet financing of offshore drilling and production platforms.

* Successfully obtained a cash VAT refund of $1.8 million from the Mangystau Regional tax authorities.
* Successfully defended $20.5 million of alleged tax violations raised in an audit by the Ministry of State Revenue. Final settlement was for $25,000.
* Managed all accounting activities and reported financial results of Kazakhstan operations monthly to corporate headquarters for consolidation.

May, 1997 – March, 1999: Manager, Asset Accounting (Oklahoma City):
* Successfully ensured reporting deadlines were met for consolidation of international subsidiaries' accounting information.
