Career Summary
My key areas of experience have been in the installation supervision and commissioning of Building Services with various internationally recognised companies. During the course of 20 years continuous work overseas I have been assigned to many diverse locations including Asia and the Middle East working with engineers and technicians of various nationalities and skill levels.
I have been involved in several very large projects including Airports, Office Complexes, Research Facilities, Hospitals, Hotels, Cleanrooms, Residential Complexes etc. liaising with consultants, owners, suppliers, contractors and sub-contractors, reviewing installation, equipment selection and drawings etc. to ensure proposals and actual installations are in accordance with specifications, international standards and good engineering practice. I am fully computer literate and have also been responsible for implementing and managing Planned Preventive Maintenance systems

Position COMMISSIONING MANAGER Duration JAN 2004 to Present
Experience Reporting to the Owner and Consultant I was responsible for managing and coordinating the commissioning of the various Building Services installations at the Bur Juman Extension Project.
The project consisted of a large podium with approx. 200 Retail Outlets, two high rise Apartment blocks, one high rise Office Tower and a separate Service Building. The position also involved a considerable amount of "hands on" participation.

Position HVAC INSTALLATION MANAGER Duration MAY 2001 to NOV 2003
Experience Responsible for managing the installation of HVAC and Fuel Hydrant Systems and related works at the new Lahore International Airport on behalf of Airsys, including procurement and ordering of materials (offshore) from various sources in accordance with the funding arrangements, managing the works programmes, delivery schedules etc., sub-contract negotiation and all commissioning works associated with HVAC installations. For various reasons, this was a particularly challenging project. After handover I was retained to manage the mechanical maintenance/defects works on behalf of the company.

Position MECHANICAL SUPERINTENDENT Duration AUG 2000 – APR 2001
Experience Seconded to Bechtel as Mechanical Superintendent for Motorola MOS17/BAT 3 project in Tianjin, China supervising a local contractor. Responsible for overseeing and driving the fast track installation of Mechanical Services (CHW/HPS/CLPS etc.) in BAT 3 facility. The facility contained many cleanroom areas, up to Class 1. Due to the very aggressive completion schedule on the project, this included very close co-ordination with both the client and designers during the installation. The facility was taken from a "shell" to an operating facility in less than 4 months, with full completion achieved in 8 months.

Experience Employed as part of the Construction Supervision team to oversee the Contractors final installation and commissioning of all Mechanical Works (HVAC, TESS, Plumbing, Fire Fighting), compiling detailed commissioning method statements, witnessing of BMS, review and approval of O+M Documentation etc. on a large (130,000 m2) commercial/residential complex (Al Tameer) in the centre of Riyadh.

Bur Juman Centre Extension, Dubai, UAE
The project consisted of a large Retail Podium, High Rise Office Tower and 2 High Rise Apartment blocks. I was employed to oversee and manage all aspects of the Building Services Commissioning, including a very large 12,000 ton Chilled Water installation.
Lahore International Airport, Lahore, PAKISTAN
