Control and Protection system of HVDC stations
- HVDC (1500MW, +500kV Chandrapur – Padghe HVDC link in India. Also participated in Factory System Testing of this project at ABB Sweden.
- Designed protection system for Indigenously developed +200kV National HVDC project in India.
- Developed AC Filter protection based on single board computer (First time in India) with the help of R&D group
Control and Protection system for EHVAC (up to 400kV) substations
- Work involved Relay selection, relay setting, scheme design, specification and procurement of Control and Protection panels, Instrument Transformers, Cables etc.
- Major jobs executed were Switchyard at Rokhia, 220kV receiving station at HOCL, Mumbai (including SCADA system), Switchyard for RSEB at Ramgarh.
- Standardised and computerized schematics of various protection and control systems of AC substation
Developed software for preparing control and protection scheme with help of AutoCAD and automatic generation of Terminal connection table and Cable schedule out of this.

- 400kV AC Switchyard having 3 diameters of one and a half breaker scheme and +500kV HVDC bipole switchyard
- 3 nos AC Harmonic filter banks of various frequencies having a total capacity of 900MVAr
- Testing and commissioning of microprocessor based HVAC and HVDC control and protection system
- System testing of HVDC system and various subsystems.
