Commissioning HSE&FF Team Leader
Ensure safety conditions and apply safety measures for all commissioning activities.
Providing support to ensure that non-conformances, defects and deficiencies relating to HSE matters are reported, and that corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence.

Participate on weekly Safety walkthrough.
Distribute safety materials, including specific items for each workplace, warning signs and barricades in each hazardous area.
Provide MSDS of hazardous substances on workplaces where are used.
Verifying all equipments (cranes, compressors, power generators, welding equipment, fire extinguishers) and ensure that are use in safe conditions.
Checking the wearing of special protective equipment and PPE in adequate and proper conditions.
Checking the gas level (H2, CH4, and O2) daily and when PTW requires.
Checking the leakages of hazardous substances and the way there are used.
Ensure and monitoring the lighting conditions in site. Directly supervise commissioning activities during night time and to check if safety signs are proper illuminated.
When radiography examinations are performed to verify if are carried out under PTW system and all safety countermeasures are in accordance with PTW requirements and Safety Manual for Radiation work.
Ensure and coordinate the links between Central Control Room- fire-fighters-security- ambulance driver- other night shift safety officers.

Supervising the purchasing of apparatus, instruments and equipment used for safety activities and familiarized all personnel with all alarm signals.

(44 officers) for all kind of emergency and special situations. Safety instructions, daily, with all visitors and foreign workers.
Teaching the employees what they have to do in case of industrial accidents guiding by the fact that "you are prevent, you are protected". Also making courses about first medical aid including the case of intoxications with toxins industrial substances and in case of all kind of injuries.
I also have to make studies about the impact caused by accidental escapes of toxins and how to prevent technological accidents for every plant in Vega Refinery. Once a year I trained the employees about the psycho behaviour reactions in extreme cases, hazardous situations.
