Infrastructure Companies like NHPC, POWERGRID, GMR Energy and Lanco
Infratech.

The applicant joined NHPC as Probationary Executive in the year of 1982 and worked on several Transmission Line and Sub-Station projects in various capacities up to 18.11.1991. Subsequently, due to formation of POWERGRID and transfer of transmission assets & manpower of NHPC, the applicant joined POWERGRID. There also, the applicant continued to work in the field of construction of various EHV Transmission Line and Sub-Station projects including Civil works, Field Quality, Contracts and Material Management, Administrative and Liaisoning functions.

The applicant also worked for more than four years as In-Charge of 400kV Moga Sub-Station, which is one of the biggest establishments of POWERGRID and developed & implemented the "Automatic Data Logger Software" and transformed it from one of the neglected substations to one of the most favorite sub stations of POWERGRID. Thereafter, the applicant worked at Pathankot as in-charge for the construction of transmission projects associated with Sewa – II HEP & pre construction activities for the upcoming transmission projects in the state of Punjab, HP & J&K.

Prior to the current position of VP – Transmission in LANCO, the applicant was working as General Manager – Transmission with GMR & was responsible for the Business Development of BOOT/ BOO Transmission Projects coming under IPTC route and also for the projects associated with group's own upcoming generating projects in India and Nepal. The detailed profile is enclosed as per Annexure-I.

6 Special Achievements
1. By intensive supervision of survey, the length of 132kV Jiribam – Leimatak
Transmission Line in Hilly region of Manipur was Reduced by 5km.

2. Despite heavy odds, hurdles and stumble blocks due to militancy during
1987– 1991 in Punjab, the 400 kV D/C Chamera – Moga Transmission
Line was constructed & commissioned on time.

3. Team Leader for development of "Real Time Data Logger Software"
and implementation of the same at all the Sub-Stations in Northern
Region-II of POWERGRID.

4. Having very good contacts with transmission line material & sub-
Station equipment manufacturers in India and China.

5. Started the T & D Department in Lanco from the scratch and won external
Contracts for more than INRs2000.00 million in less than 6 months time.
