Primary Responsibilities / Job Profile
- Execute the project in accordance with the approved Project Management Plan (PMP) and Project Execution Plan (PEP) with respect to man-hours, cost, quality, scope of work and schedule. Foresee the areas of concern with respect to progress and recommend corrective action wherever required.
- Provide expert technical support and solutions to the technical problems arising during erection / construction.
- Lead the supervision of construction work and coordinate with contractor, sub-contractors. Ensure contractor's compliance with Company's standards, quality, safety rules and regulations.
- Liaison with Consultant, Client and Contractors for technical clarifications.
- Coordinate and participate in progress review meetings. Prepare and present weekly and monthly progress reports to the management / client.
- Carries out technical assessment of bid / contract documents, prepares reports and participate in the clarification meetings with vendors & clients.
- Evaluate and approve pre-qualification documents from contractors and vendors.
- Review and approve all project documents, specifications, drawings, construction schedule and other technical documents.
- Review progress claims and payment certificates of construction contractor & settle.
- Maintain international HSE standards while increasing production. Lead and participate in risk assessment and management to eliminate potential risks.
- Having excellent knowledge in Welding Processes and NDT techniques.
- Well conversant with International standards and codes like ASME, API, ANSI, IBR, TEMA, DIN, BS, GOST & SNIP (Russian) standards.

2007 - Present M/s Arabian Industries LLC, Rusayl, Oman. Construction Manager
Project: Fahud Steam Project at Fahud, Sultanate of Oman for Petroleum Development Oman LLC.
At present executing the construction of:
- Fahud Steam Injection Plant for PDO at Fahud, Northern Oman. The scope includes, tank farm, Water treatment plant (Reverse Osmosis), Steam Generation Plant and 8 Kilo-meters of High pressure steam pipelines. All civil, mechanical, piping, electrical & instrumentation works as main EPC contractor of the project.
Project Value: 103.600 Million USD.
Project: Salalah Sapphire Project at Salalah, Sultanate of Oman for Octal Petrochemicals FZC.
Executesd the construction of:
- Salalah Sapphire Project – Petrochemical Plant at Salalah. All civil, mechanical, piping, electrical & instrumentation works as main EPC contractor of the project.
Project Value: 26.750 Million USD.
2005 – 2006 M/s GMMOS Kazakhstan LLP, Aktau, Kazakhstan. Engineering Manager
Handled the engineering & construction of coded (ASME) pressure vessels, storage tanks and other equipments for offshore and onshore installation of major clients:
- M/s Batman, Isreal.
- M/s Saipem, Kazakhstan.
- M/s Keppel, Kazakhstan.

Executed the engineering review and construction of Fuel Bunkering Plant. Includes:
- All civil construction of footings & buildings.
- Tank farm of 110,000cum capacity.
- 8km of 8", 16" & 20" underground fuel oil pipeline.
- loading & offloading facilities at Salalah sea port.
- Plant piping and other electrical & Instrumentation works.
Achievement: Project completed and handed-over 14 days before scheduled completion date.

Project: "Songo Songo Gas to Power Generating Project" - Natural Gas Processing Plant at Songo Songo Island of Tanzania for M/s Songas Limited.
Executed the design review, procurement, construction, erection and commissioning of:
- All civil foundations and buildings.
- Tank farm, offshore plate forms, U/G gas pipelines.
- Gas Processing Plant erection.

- Lube Oil Blending Plant of 30,000 MT Capacity for British Petroleum (BP), Dubai and Castrol, Iran at Queshim Island, Iran.
- Oil Storage CS Tanks of 2x15,000 cum capacity and DM Water Storage Stainless Steel 316L Tanks of 2x1000 cum capacity as per DIN & BS codes for Emirates CMS Power Company (Client), SIEMENS AG (Consultant) at Taweelah A2 Power & Water Project, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
- TLBU - Total Lubricants Blending Unit of 50,000 MT Capacity for Total Lubricants Blending UAE Company Ltd., Jabeel Ali (TOTAL – FENA Group), Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- Jet A1 Aviation Fuelling Terminal with storage capacity of 2x137 cum at Fujirah Airport for EPPCO Aviation, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- Mud Plant of 6000 Bbls capacity with Jet Mixing Tanks of 1200 Bbls capacity, complete with plant piping, pumps and structural loading facility for Azerbaijan International Oil Company, Baku, Azerbaijan.
