Sakhalin-1 EPC-1 Onshore Processing Facility, ExxonMobil

Onshore Grass-roots Oil and Gas processing facility rated at 250,000 BpD and 800 MSCD. Facility included two Frame 6 Gas-Turbine Generators, two Frame 5 Gas-turbine Injection Compressors, Crude Oil Separation and Stabilization, Vapor Recovery Compressors and Scrubbers as well as all utility and support systems. Remote island / artic / frontier location required large, 1500 TN modular design execution along with a significant stick-built portion, construction and operation of a 2,800 bed camp and all infrastructure / support facilities. The construction team received and installed over 45,000 tons of modules and field executed 17MM man-hours of on-site construction over a two year period meeting or exceeding ExxonMobil's safety, schedule and cost expectations.

* Responsible for rigging lift plans and crane assignments. Duties include training Russian and Turkish employees proper techniques related to the safe operation of cranes and rigging. Cranes to include Manitowoc 888, 999 and Grove 60 to 90 ton RT's.
* Responsible for erection of internal/external structural steel, cladding, roofing, overhead doors, and HVAC systems for a Crude Pump house, Diesel Methanol Building, and a TEG gas-drying building. This includes setting all internal equipment within these structures.
* Oversight of piling installation for the entire facility including pipe racks, process modules, and tank storage.
* Oversight of daily/weekly equipment needs to support mechanical, electrical, and civil contractors throughout the execution of the project. This includes cranes, earthmovers, manlifts, material handling, and hauling as well as all ancillary equipment.
* Oversight of insulation application on piping and equipment.
* Oversight of painting and fireproofing applications throughout the site.

Maine Yankee Decommissioning Project/Various Nuclear Outages

Decommissioning of a 900 megawatt Pressurized Water Reactor that safely generated about 119 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity from 1972 through 1996. Maine Yankee was one of the first large commercial power reactors to complete decommissioning. Maine Yankee completed the decommissioning safely and within budget. The site was cleaned radiologically to a level significantly more stringent than required by U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulations. Zero lost time injuries in over three years; Completed decommissioning with less than half the NRC's radiological dose limit; Radiological cleanup of the site to a level significantly lower than the 10 millirem target; First ever use of explosives to safely demolish a containment building; Approximately 400 million pounds of waste safely removed from the site by rail, truck and barge; Largest single campaign to move spent nuclear fuel from wet to dry storage.

* Responsible for crew briefing and delegation of assignments for all critical lifts done over the reactor core.
* Responsible for Nuclear and personnel safety during reactor core offloads, shuffles, and reloads.
* Reactor Core Technician specializing in fuel handling, fuel transfer, underwater long-handled tools, under water camera handling, and nuclear fuel integrity inspection.
* Dry Cask Technician qualified in all aspects of storing spent nuclear fuel including: fuel loading, canister transfers, vacuum drying, forced air cooling, heavy hauling, and loading/unloading of 200ton concrete casks.
* Oversee all heavy haul operations while transferring nuclear fuel to the ISFSI.

North Anna Reactor Head Replacement, Surry and VC Summer Refuel Projects

Unscheduled emergency replacement of the Reactor Pressure Vessel Head at North Anna due to 49 of the 59 nozzles having cracks. The replacement of the North Anna, Unit 2, RPVH, represented the first time a major reactor component fabricated pursuant to the French RCC-M Code was used in a commercial U.S. PWR. The project included cutting a hole into the side of the containment wall and building a platform and trolley system to accommodate the RPVH weight.

* Operated containment polar crane during critical RPVH lifts and internal lifts. Supported other crafts with various cranes on the outside of containment.
* Certified rigger with knowledge of proper heavy and light duty rigging methods.
