Duties and responsibilities include:Prepare schedules for shipyard repairs prior to USCG COI inspections of lift-boats. Plan for future repairs. Work with shipyards on scheduling repair work to meet deadlines. Average of 5 simultaneous vessel repairs per month between two shipyards. Hercules owns and operates 47 lift-boats that are cycled thru shipyard repairs, yearly topside, and five-year hull inspections. Implemented the use of Microsoft's Project 2007 software to graphically plan and chart each vessel's progress during the repair cycle. Corporate managers are now able to easily track the progress of each vessel in order to predict when they are able to book jobs for the boats. Revise vessel piping systems drawings to reflect changes using Auto-Cad.
