Nature of Work:

A. Order Processing (Import)

* Check that pre-calculation correctly reflects the terms and is correctly calculated
* Prepare sales and purchase contracts, based on Trader instructions and pre-calculation
* Ensure business is financed, prepare pink file including Letter of Credit (L/C) application
* Make sure customer L/C is received in good time and that it reflects the contract. If not, ask for amendments.
* Procurement monitoring and purchase of goods
*Planning of import material by keeping track of inventory and monthly requirements /
forecasting. Placing orders on overseas suppliers' accordingly.

B. Shipping & Logistics
* Coordinate with Shipping Department for new vessels and combination of cargoes
* Check and confirm material is in port, Arrange inspection if required
* Provide draft Bill of Lading (B/L) and arrange for originals to be released and check against customer L/C terms
* Arrange and report marine cargo insurance and Charterer's Liability Insurance within max 30 days of B/L date
* Issue Invitation to Bid to forwarders and shipping companies, evaluate the quotations, clarify the contents of the proposal and negotiate with the short listed bidders for the selection of project forwarder and shipping company
* Supervises the overall logistics operation of the project and makes the shipping plan especially for heavy cargos Coordinates with Vendors, Expediters, Engineers, Forwarders and shipping companies to ensure timely delivery and safety of the cargos during shipment and delivery to
Site in the most economical shipping mode.
*Monitors and control the overall logistics cost of the project
*Reviews and approve the export packing specifications and transportation drawings of Vendors
*Attends pre-shipment meeting with Vendor, forwarder and shipping company
*Supervises loading operation of heavy and sensitive cargo at the port

* Knowledge of SAP
* Creation of delivery notes and communication of instructions to warehouse
* Coordinate trucking and customer logistic requirements
* MIGO_GR, Ship and PGI orders in SAP
* Coordination with AP
* Maintain weekly status sheets
* Create and publish weekly reports and graphs
* Contact converters regarding material status and expedites
* Contact TIMET Service Centers and Sales Offices regarding order status
* File system and heat jacket maintenance
* Prepares bills of lading and arranges for transportation of shipments
* Occasional converter visits and delivering of test pieces
