As Director of Project Development and Engineering of Northland Resources Inc. responsible for overall management and P&L related to the grass root development of three mining properties; Tapuli, Stora Sahavaara and Hannukinen iron mines, associated process and pelletizing plants, infrastructure and all ancillary facilities located in northern Sweden and Finland. Total capital investment $ 1.5 billion.

As Manager of P.T. Freeport Indonesia provided leadership and direction to mine development, engineering, mine operations and cost control activities for large copper/gold mining operation located in a remote mountains of Indonesia; simultaneously implementing $500 M in capital improvements including grass root development of stope mining operation. Exceptional teamwork, innovative engineering, process improvements and rigorous management transformed the mine into a world class operation seen as a benchmark in the industry with new records in; Safety >3.2 M hrs w/o LTA; Production >72,000 tpd and Development >1,000 m/mo.;

As Senior Project Manager of Lafarge Corp. directed development and P&L for the $30 million state-of-the-art grass root mine development project and processing plant while operating existing facilities. Resolved pre-existing key project development issues to deliver quality $170M facility. Created strategy, schedule and efficient budget, negotiated contracts and executed start up. Directed engineering, construction, development efforts and procurement for all capital assets. Reduced 30% project insurance costs.

Managed large Technical Services Department supporting development and mining operations of underground nuclear repository for Westinghouse Electric Co. /US Government. Directed and integrated activities of highly diverse group of professionals (mechanical, electrical, geotechnical, mining, hydrology, surveying, and ventilation) diverse craft, multiple consultants and subcontractors.
