My wife and I have opened our own Drilling & Blasting company that services the Mining, Construction and Rail Industries. I have served as Chief Inspector for Construction Management on The Heartland Corridor Project in West Virginia. Consulted to Tran Systems for BNSF Capacity Improvement Project. Four as Chief Inspector for the city of Atlanta on the West Area CSO. Twenty years in supervisory positions. Fifteen years drilling, blasting and training. Bituminous Coal Operators of America (BCOA) Supervisory Training Certified. Surface and Underground MSHA and OSHA Trainer. International Society of Explosive Engineers (ISEE) Member and level 2 Blaster.

Construction management inspection to insure quality control and contract specification requirements on a major Railway Tunnel retro-fit project in a Union Environment for Norfolk Southern. Key team member in the planning phase to the bid award on the Crystal Springs Water Project. Act as consultant on Drilling and Blasting projects for Tran Systems on the BNSF CIP. Duties include, but not limited to Consulting with design and CM team issues with possible methane gas in tunnel areas due to coal seams in overburden. Collecting progress statistics, updating and monitoring daily reports and logs on progress, monitoring daily and ongoing contract progress. FRA Certified.

Construction Management Chief Inspector for Drill and Blast Shafts and tunnels on a $250 million CSO project in Atlanta. Oversaw the Drilling & Blasting within 75' of I-75. Oversaw and Directed 10 inspectors on 7 sites, 4 Construction Shafts 40' diameter 100' to 175' deep, 1 intake shaft 20' diameter 100' deep, 1 overflow shaft 20' diameter 100' deep and 1 Pump station shaft 75' diameter 125' deep including initial support both ring steel and lagging and sheet piles, permanent lining and contact grouting. Several thousand feet of Drill and Blast Starter and tail tunnels, Overflow and connector tunnels Excavation, Lining and Grouting were monitored also to insure contract compliance through monitoring daily shift reports Compile records for weekly progress reports. Assure compliance of blasting requirements for city, state and federal regulations. Serve in unofficial Public Relations Liaison position for city of Atlanta to communities during blasting operations. Compile and maintain blast data. Assist resident engineer with daily and weekly progress reports.
