Materials Management
Responsible for importation, transportation and receipt of all materials and equipment required for the construction of two 160,000m3 LNG Tanks (20,541,300 KGS of materials), including unloading, storage, material handling and transfer to sub-contractors. Duties include liaising with Port Authorities and Customs Authorities in Mexico and the USA, arranging transportation of material and equipment to the Project site, liaising with shipping agents and representatives as well as liaising with the client with respect to importation documentation from Japan, Europe, and the Middle East and the preparation of insurance claim documentation.
Distribution
Responsible for Shipping and Receiving in a 200,000 square foot facility servicing customers worldwide. Interfaced closely with carriers including Federal Express, UPS, RPS, DHL, Burlington, Nippon, Panalpina, Emery, Viking, and CTS.
Inventory
Managed an inventory of $190 Million of finished goods, including an off-site warehouse. Coordinated with inventory control to obtain 99.9% inventory accuracy. Managed an inventory of $100 Million of hard drives.
WMS Implementation
Responsible for implementation and operation of WMS system, with two successful go live implementations.
Profit and loss
Manage budgets and assumed responsibility for full profit and loss. Prepared monthly profit and loss reports.
