Downer EDI Engineering

The Singapore Parallel Train (SPT) project is an integrated petrochemicals project which is to start construction in the refinery and chemical hub that is Jurong Island in Singapore. 30,000 personnel are employed at Jurong Island and this number is expected to increase to 65,000 by 2009.
The Jurong Island petrochemicals industry accounts for $25bn of the Singaporean economy.
The project has been instigated by ExxonMobil as an extension to their already major presence in the area with a 605,000bpd refinery – one of the largest in Jurong, which means that feedstock's would not be a problem. Singapore is the Asia-Pacific hub for ExxonMobil's downstream and chemical businesses.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the development of a Level 5 schedule for the project. In addition, we developed schedules for 7 early works programs with critical finish dates and 12 shutdown programs that coincided with the Major Project.

Achievements
* Managed the Downer Planning Team which included Planners from 3 nationalities
* Wrote engineering assistance pamphlets
* Developed Dashboard reporting system for Project.
* Developed online schedule viewing platform.

2007 – 2008 Senior Site Planner

Project Aurora Recovery

This is a $600 million Ammonium Nitrate plant construction project at Moranbah in North Queensland. Following the decision by Dyno-Nobel's board to suspend the original project, the United Group submitted a proposal to complete the job as the EPCM Contractor.
I was employed on the job after the previous planner has been sick for several months, to bring the schedule into line.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the collation and reporting of all planning and scheduling work to the client. Produced bi-weekly and monthly reports, as well as look ahead programs and progress "S" curve. Worked with superintendents / sub contractors / other multi-disciplinary teams as required for the success of the projects

Achievements
* Rebuilt the schedule after 4 months of neglect
* Developed Scaffold schedule
* Worked with Engineering & Quality Management sections to track variations & TQ's
* Brought reporting system into place and developed manpower spreadsheet.

2007 Maintenance Planner
SANTOS PTY LTD
Moomba Oil & Gas Facility
The Moomba facility accepts production from 115 gas fields and 28 oil fields containing 536 producing gas wells and 177 producing oil wells through approximately 5,600 kilometres of pipelines and flow lines via 24 oil and gas satellite facilities, many of which incorporate field boost compression.
Total investment to date by the Cooper Basin joint venture is approximately AUD $8 billion, making it Australia's largest onshore resources project.

Responsibilities
Senior Routine Planner for the Moomba O&G facility. Processed breakdown reports from maintenance superintendents and plant management. Developed Work packs for repair crews and scheduled time and resources into Maximo.

We manage maintenance service subcontractors and integrate Transfield Services' systems with Santos' maintenance planning and work management processes. We aim for continuous improvement on our maintenance performance and to deliver ongoing efficiencies to our client.
