SUMMARY
I have been active in the southern African construction industry for 12 years, and have since relocated to Ireland. I worked within the largest companies in southern Africa and by South African standards the contracts worked on were of the most prestigious and sizeable. Both companies in Ireland are reputable, Hegarty’s one of the three largest construction companies, while SIAC Construction, although one of the five largest civil engineering firms, recently started the Special Contracts Division, which I joined last November. The division was introduced to seek contracts under IR£10 million, and concentrates on bridge building, and other contacts of an unusual nature. I am a professional, flexible and organised manager dedicated to completing projects within the financial and time constraints allocated. My strengths lie in a) management of staff and labour b) Problem identification and solving c) Good technical and practical ability and execution thereof d) Communication within all sectors.
I am confident of all my abilities and performances and would benefit, learn and contribute in a challenging new prospect.
