POSITION DESIRED: Cost Engineer and/or Estimator
EXPERIENCE SUMMARY:
Cost Engineering: Progressive levels of responsibility to current classification as Senior Cost Engineer. Fully understand the importance of early coordination with estimating, up front planning and formatting the WBS prior to moving dirt, monitoring IFC drawings for changes, construction progressing, monitoring productivity, forecasting and schedule support. Can handle all Cost Engineering functions including reacting to management needs, contractor invoice approval, cash flow development and risk analysis.
Estimating: I have been responsible for estimates for a wide variety of capital, maintenance and operations contracts for projects ranging from $10,000 to $500,000,000. I have held progressive levels of responsibility to current classification as Senior Estimator. Lead Project Estimator on feasibility through field control estimates. Fully understand the importance of planning and formatting, risk management, engineering & construction change order management. Can handle all estimating functions, coordinate with management, and work with contractors.
