Responsible for design, fit out and installation for a major office complex of over 30,000 sqf for a part grade 1 listed building in Covent Garden for the client's international sales department.
As part of this project I provided a consultancy to the client on other building management and related issues including budget provision, health and safety compliances for a total property portfolio of 10 city buildings.wrote and tended M&E, cleaning contracts provivding total annaul saving of operation costs of 1.5 million.

Ministry of Defence Managed accommodation services in Cyprus as the forces for the Gulf War transited through Cyprus where I operated a 24hr service to over 7,000 servicemen on a rotation basis for all their requirements over the period of 4 months this required great deal of negotiating skills as well as commitment, flexibility and a great sense of humour working under great pressure and stress.
Dorling Kindersley Reviewed all service contracts and re-tendered total savings where 60k reduction in cleaning, 60% reduction in mobile phone calls, and increased M&E services with a reduction in costs estimated at 20k. Reviewed utilities and advised on possible cost savings which the effect of a further had cost reduction estimated at another 30k.
Monteray/Carillion services Using my experience both commercially and in the interest of the client on my own initiative carried out a survey of the current waste disposal issues as well as costs, as a result of this whilst maintaining the Companies ISO 14000 accreditation reduced my budget costs by 192k, As a result of this the company used the same process Nationwide amounting to substantial savings both for Monteray and the client.
While at DTZ, a building recently experienced a complete mains failure, this effected seven tenants of which one was totally reliant on its IT infrastructure for its 24 hour operations, and two were television companies, the failure resulted in a complete review and replacement of 12 isolators and 3 buzz bars, and in some areas rewiring, whist maintaining a supply to the tenants, this required a great deal of tenant, client interface as well as delivering within budget and on time.
