Accomplishments
§ Provide operational leadership to a new company with responsibilities for developing levels of quality control, safety, project controls, and employee development protocol.§ Began a formal makeover of a very traditional division challenged by the rapidly changing D/FW (Texas) Metroplex marketplace.
§ Developed a leadership standard within current operating group focusing the business approach on senior management’s vision of total empowerment, responsibility and accountability.
§ Developed a single company focus applicable to multi-divisional offices so as to ensure continuity and commonality relating to combined corporate business planning.
§ Developed long-term relationships with key design and specialty contracting firms, which now permeate throughout the Eby organization.
§ Developed and implemented a management plan for remote Exxon gas production plans with limited craft skills. The plan included re-structuring of plan services, organization and responsibilities; began cross craft training with core skills competency testing utilizing the principles of “ABC Wheels of Learning” program.
§ Have successfully applied my business training and discipline to community environments, in which I interfaced with a variety of administrative, financial, and human system issues, which rival any and all industry settings because of the inclusion of emotions (human relations).

Operational responsibilities for a start-up minority owned general contracting and construction management company. Primary focus of company is to provide management skills and in-depth technical competence to the publicly and governmentally funded sectors of the construction industry of the Metroplex. Clientele representing these sectors include: DFW International Airport; Dallas Area Transit Authority (DART; University of North Texas; and University of Texas at Arlington.

§ Managed engineering, scheduling, planning and daily activities of multi-crafts required for construction/start-up of process utilities, waste water processing systems, associated cross-country transfer pipelines, docks, with loading and unloading systems. § Managed all construction functions of a “grassroots” fibers plant. Total installed project value was $45 Million in 1980 dollars.

§ Responsible for development of plant service agreements for selected industry types in the south-eastern United States, from initial sales through to closing.
§ Assigned supervisory personnel, monitored team performance, project costs and profitability, and remained client’s point of contact for life of contract terms, including warranty periods.
