SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:
Worked on IWPP project for Jubail industrial city of KSA, position of Power Transmission and Distribution Specialist, technical advisory role to Management for 1st IPP project of this region. Involved in a team for T & D Assets acquisition for the Industrial city.

Project Management in EHV Transmission Lines and Substation (GIS & Conv.) of Saudi Electric Co.(WR). And Marafiq power and water utility company of Jubail and Yanbu, EHV, HV and MV power network planning and system studies, carried out economical and technical studies with computer simulation using PSSE software.
Design review and approval of EHV and HV Substation (Protection, Switchgear (GIS), and Transformers, Auxiliaries equipment's schematics drawings, reviewing as built drawings.
Reviewing and witnessing the FAT Reports.

Following are key focus area of professional experience:
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians for several specific projects
- Provides recommendations on technical as well as contractual matters to the Manager/Head of Projects Section, in order to assist him in decision making.
- Support project manager in all technical concerns
- Progress review, certification of payments and conduct technical and contractual meetings.
- Ensure engineering is compliant with contract
- Taking over, warranty period monitoring, final taking over
- Develop and maintain manpower and cost estimates for project work
- Preparation of technical specifications & tender documents, engineering procurement and RFP for IWPP
- Bid evaluation and contract administration. Ensure correspondence and design documents are maintained
- Design of HV substation layouts, equipment configurations, feasibility studies, economic evaluation. Design and review EHV/HV Substation systems
- Project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, reporting
- Develop schedule, task breakdown, and resource allocation for the engineering part of the project
- Review contractor submittal packages
- Provide technical support during the proposal stage of projects (i.e. cost estimates, layout concepts, equipment sizing, etc )
- Develop conceptual designs for transmission & distribution EHV/HV systems
- Witness or direct manufacturer's test of / EHV/HV Substation Equipments (FAT)
- Familiarity with designing to national and international codes and standards
