Assistance for contractual dispute resolution - with Commercial Manager and South East Region Senior Quantity Surveyor of Kier International to review and analyze in several contractual issues in leading to the final stage of arbitration.

Disputes arisen with the client in regarding of interpretation contractual provisions of standard form in result of measurement disputes, i.e. sectional measurement of interfered works at different phases, re-rating of contract rates by the Engineer due to substantially increasing quantities of works etc, eventually resolved by the award of arbitration.

* Consolidate all the information, consequences and facts for detailed particulars as the Contractor's interim submission, in order to assist the Engineer to ascertain of our requests in EOT and monetary recovery.
* Quantify monetary recovery at disruption costs and costs of prolonged temporary traffic arrangement to be reimbursed under the specific heading of disruption claims.
* Make an interim assessment of the quantum of prolongation costs with assistance of QS at the project team to provide such cost data i.e. contractor's site office running costs and head office running costs etc in supporting the interim submission.

* Check and finalize all the works at bills, variation orders, site instructions and daywork orders.
* Valuation of variation accounts of ER's variation orders and subsequent negotiation the rate proposals with the Engineer's Representatives.
* Assist the Site Agent in analysis of data available at ER's Site Diaries, i.e. resources allocation, site idling and logical sequence of works, in order to consolidate for the submission of EOT claim reports.
