EXPERIENCE SUMMARY
Bilingual (English and Chinese,) with BS in Chemical Engineering, and over thirteen years domestic and international experience in power generation. Responsibilities include startup and commissioning, training various groups for operation and maintenance, overseeing system performance testing for limestone handling, performing equipment testing and instrument set up, supporting pre-commissioning, monitoring systems, designing various systems for wet FGDS applications, and liaising with customers. CURRENT ASSIGNMENT:
11/96-Present Alstom Support Services. Projects included:
FGD Site Engineering, Florina, Greece. Assisted construction and led commissioned for one 300MW FGD unit (including reagent preparation and dewatering) in Florina, Greece. Once commissioned, the units were then operated by commissioning team for several months and continue to be operated until whole boiler/FGD project receives PAC.
FGD Commissioning Manager. Centralia, Washington. Commissioning Manager. Facility consists of FGD island, gypsum dewatering systems, and two wet Flue Gas Desulfurazation systems (FGDS). Responsibilities included overseeing system performance testing for limestone handling.
FGD Tuning & Operations and Maintenance Training. Sual, Philippines. Commissioning / Process Engineer. Responsibilities included training various groups for operation and maintenance of two newly installed wet Flue Gas Desulfurazation Systems (FGDS).
FGD Commissioning and Operations. Mae Moh, Thailand. Senior Commissioning Engineer. Responsibilities included supporting pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
FGD Construction / Start-up Support. Melnik, Czech Republic. Senior Engineer. Responsibilities included supporting pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
FGD Operations & Maintenance. Lin Kou, Taiwan. Operation / Warranty Engineer. Responsibilities included providing support, completing Performance Test B (PT-B), monitoring systems, resolving operation and performance issues leading up to PT-A and PT-B, and supporting negotiations of 'pending' commercial issues.

Thermal Power Plant. Pollution Control Project. Startup Manager / Operations Advisor / Tuning Engineer. Responsibilities included scheduling start-up events, managing cost control, start-up budget, and a team of local and foreign engineering personnel during troubleshooting, training, tuning, and testing of the systems. Duties also included serving as resident advisor, liaising with the customer, performing equipment testing and instrument set up pursuant to operations, developing turnover packages for pre-commissioning, and assisting with the development of the construction verification turnover packages. Other responsibilities included revising control system consistent with optimum process performance, conducting operation and maintenance training programs, reviewing system design, performing operational risk analysis, recommending and implementing modifications, reviewing contract specifications, and drafting documents.
Process Engineer. Birmingham, Alabama. Responsibilities included overseeing process design of air pollution control equipment, designing various systems for wet FGDS applications, developing computer simulated hydraulics programs, and other model simulations, and performing initial design work for Dry FGD pilot plant operations.

Wood Products Division. Responsibilities included maintaining equipment.
Copper Division. Responsibilities included maintaining process water for cooling towers, heat exchangers, and boilers, and performing analysis to establish boiler and water treatment chemistry. Duties also included researching and implementing solutions to laboratory problems, developing procedures for routine analysis, upgrading equipment with implementation of an ICP, graphite furnace, and x-ray spectrometer.
