CAREER PROFILE SUMMARY:
Hands on personal computer (MS Office, Auto Cad) and had experience in Distributed Control System, Emergency Shutdown System, Fire & Gas System and Exposed in several construction company involved in Engineering Procurement Installation Commissioning and Build Operate Transfer type of Contract at Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Power Plants. In addition to that I've been in the Operation and Maintenance a couple of years at the Refinery and Petrochemical Plants.
Having 14 years of extensive exposure in the field of instrumentation and control system installation, construction, pre-com/commissioning activities and Technical Support to Front End Engineering Design involved in construction deliverables documents such as Input/output List, Loop diagrams, Process/Pneumatic Hook-ups, Termination diagrams, Interconnection diagrams, Layout drawings and As built drawings.
Packages type equipments commonly used in industrial Plants and Refinery such as Boilers, Compressors, Water Treatment facility, Drainage System, Instrument Air Dryers and 25Tons Overhead Cranes. Well verse in Operation & Maintenance of instrumentation and control system performed diagnose control system problem and trouble shoot instrument loops made corrective action and servicing, calibration, repair of instrumentation devices and fault finding on Distributed Control System, Emergency Shutdown System, Fire & Gas System and Programmable Logic Controller in my previous experiences.

Engineer Post:

- As a package engineer responsible of ensuring all instrumentation around the package unit are comply with the specification, standards and as per agreed engineering design. Visual inspection of instrumentation equipments around the package unit, verify and issue calibration works schedule to subcontractor. Modify/Rectify any discrepancies around the package unit. Inform vendor in writing any discrepancy such as materials, hook-up, specification and solution made during construction phase. Facilitate vendors conducting any required test during pre-com/commissioning period.

- Monitoring, Visual inspection on site work instrumentation activities during construction period. Ensure all relevant inspection, test are carried out according to safety, quality and conducted by qualified personnel. Ensure all plant systems instrumentation have been correctly hooked up or verified with the construction check sheet completed.

- Ensure that all instrumentation construction works is carried out in accordance to engineering design, specification, materials, quality, safety and workmanship is up high relatively to installation. Responsible for collating discussing and resolving any comments or queries arising from the approval issue.

- Support to FEED regarding instrumentation drawings deliverables (Loop diagrams, Process/Pneumatic Hook-ups, Termination Diagrams, Interconnection Diagrams and Layout Drawings) preparation and ensure vendor data is incorporated into the final drawings.

- Prepare commissioning work-pack or system-pack of all instrumentations of DCS, ESD, drainage system, Fire & Gas System and Overhead Cranes 25 ton capacity.

- Visual Inspection of instrument Pneumatic/Process hook-ups, Junction Box etc. installation as per approved constructions drawings and Witness calibration of Transmitters, control valves, switches etc., and verify if all instrumentation are complying against instrument data sheets and specification as per design concept.

- Responsible of pre-commissioning of DCS, ESD, F&G and Package Unit instrumentation & control system. Monitoring activity and Witness any test activity. Preparation of punch list prior to mechanical completion.

Supervisory Post:

- Monitor and control on site work instrumentation activities during the contractor/subcontractor works relative to the Rag and Flare Mitigation Integrated Project with a specific responsibility for the upgrading of the existing instrumentation and control system equipments and cabling of NGL Plants, to ensure compliances with the contract requirements relative to design implementation, specification, schedule, quality, safety, health and environment.

- Review and comments on procedures, method statement, Instrumentation test plan and other item deliverables by project contractor. Ensure all contractual obligations by contractor/subcontractor are being followed.

- Ensure that all instrumentation construction and upgrading works is carried out in accordance with the contract requirements and the standard of workmanship are meet, the quality of materials used is comply with company standards and specifications.

- Inspect equipments after completion to ensure all components are as per the approved drawing and report any discrepancies on the punch list.

- Verify all inspection was carried out by qualified personnel and the records are well maintained. Monitor main constructor/subcontractor during testing activities (Cable continuity/Insulation test, Calibration, Loop checking etc.) to ensure compliance with the agreed testing procedures.

- Facilitate Vendor to do modification on existing DCS, ESD and F&G System software & Hardware under project scope of work.

- Supervision and monitoring of Instrumentation and control system activity during construction phase. Implement engineering design, specification and verify subcontractor instrumentation test plan activities are being conducted in accordance to contractual obligation.

- Supervision and monitoring of installation of Package equipment which are included in the project scope such as DCS, ESD, F&G, Compressors, Thermal Oxidizers, Instrument Air Dryers and Nitrogen Compressors.

- Responsible of witnessing instrument test plan activity and cross references check or verify if it's in accordance to constructional obligation. Witness pressure test of instrument tubing and verify leak tightness.

Technician Post:

- Ensure all instrumentation devices or equipments are well maintain according to quality, safety and working condition, instrument such as Transmitters, Control valves, Switches, Gauges etc. That is being utilized to control and monitoring process parameters.

- Acquired daily routine activity from direct superior in accordance to plan and preventive maintenance of individual instrumentation devices and equipments. Well exposed in trouble shooting, diagnose control system problem and made any corrective action as necessary during instrument malfunction when it is required by operation personnel during plants operational.

- Do shift work per request by my superior to accommodate operation personnel requirement during normal operation of plants or refinery. Conduct loop test, trouble shooting, servicing, calibration, repairs when instrument is malfunction or breakdown to facilitate operation personnel during monitoring and controlling process parameters. Bypass critical instrument using the aid of Programmable Logic Controller per operation or maintenance personnel requirements to carry out their respective works.

- Conduct trouble shooting, diagnose and corrective action on DCS, ESD, F&G and PLC during instrumentation loops problem.

- Responsible of instrumentation and control system installation in Production Platform and Gas Oil Separation Platform. Conduct testing and pre-commissioning activity on instrumentation devices/equipments installed at the platform.

- Trouble shooting on individual loops during pre-commissioning and rectify any problem arise involving instrumentation & control system especially when commissioning phase or putting instrument into service.
