As Senior Engineer - Mechanical of Naphtha Cracker and Associated Units, I have been involved in the project right from construction to post commissioning stabilization of the plant. I feel contended with the positive role played by me in bringing up this fast track project and stabilizing the plant in a span of 35 months.
Responsible for the Mechanical Maintenance functions, which include ensuring availability of equipment, planning, budgeting, resources mobilization and management of internal and external human resources, cost control.
The details of my major accomplishments in this project are as follows.
Ħ Was involved in this mega petrochemical complex from construction, commissioning to the present stabilization of the plant.
Ħ For monitoring the progress of the project I was deputed to the project management team of Becthel by HPL management. In PMT I had placed my thrust on the quality of construction and inducted a team of HPL engineers to ensure the quality of construction.
Ħ I had been instrumental in developing various inspection and test plan & Job Procedures for various mechanical construction activities. Apart from implementing this ITP to further reinforce the quality of construction I established quality audits and reviews of the LSTK contractors.
Ħ While takeover of the plant from the LSTK contractors, I headed a team of engineers for the technical audit of the operating systems.
Ħ Has built an exceptional team of engineers and technicians to face the challenges of commissioning and effective maintenance. This was possible by providing technology training and guidance and moreover by infusing a professional and value based work culture to the team.
Ħ HPL has implemented SAP R/3 in all functions of the company. In SAP, I actively involved in the preparation of Material Master for the spares ordered and Equipment master for the Equipments of Naphtha Cracker and Associated Units.
Ħ Has successfully planned for optimal utilization of human and material resources for safe and successful commissioning of Naphtha Cracker and Associated units.
