Power Station structural design, inspections: retrofit to coal-fired to reduce NOx emissions:
- Marion (IL) Units 4,5&6: re-designed piled foundations SCR reactor supports to eliminate costly shear walls.
- Coffeen (IN): Retrofit for new air intake ducts, check & modify in-place steel for duct bumpers and supports, new truss retrofit for ash pipe.
- Gibson (IN) Units 2,3,4&5: New SCR units retrofit to existing station - achieved significant cost savings for Client thru critical structural analysis of existing structure.
- Poletti, (NY) 500 MW CCPP: principal design reviewer for civil / structural works, including construction support. Reviewed and altered numerous design and construction issues, achieved very few issues during support phase.
