* Deputy Project Manager, Asian Development Bank (ADB), OPEC, the Government of France and Spain funded US$ 340.00 (approx.) million 100 km long Jamuna Bridge Railway Link Project, Bangladesh. This project comprises of construction of embankment facilities, rail track and constructions of 63 bridges and 91 culverts.

* Project Engineer, of Jamalpur Priority Project (FAP 3.1), funded US$ 50 million by European Economic Community (EEC) under which about 110 km long embankment, internal connecting roads, sluice gates and culverts etc were under study.

* Section Chief Engineer, Ministry of Public Works (MPW), KUWAIT for seven highway road projects consisting of: (i) Ist Ring Road ( 10km long, 2-way with 5-lanes, costing US$ 20 million), (ii) 2nd Ring Road (15km long, 2-way with 5-lanes, costing US $30 million), (iii) 3rd Ring Road ( 25km long, 2-way with 5-lanes, costing US$ 50 million), (iv) 4th Ring Road ( 30km long, 2-way with 5-lanes, costing US$ 60million).
(v) 5th Ring Road ( 40km long, 2-way with 5-lanes, costing US$ 80million),
(vi) ) 6th Ring Road (60km long, 2-way with 5-lanes, costing US$ 120million), (vii) 7th Ring Road (70km long, 2-way with 5-lanes, costing US$ 140million).

Also included the supervision of all material testings in the Central Roads Laboratory of Ministry.

As Project Manager, responsible for planning, design, management and supervision in the construction of 12 nos multi-storeyed buildings in Dhaka City. The total cost of this project was about US$ 2.00 million.

The aims of this project was to protect the Jamalpur District area from flood by constructing 110km long embankment and easy internal communication system. with sluices and culverts for irrigation facilities.
Responsibilities included supervision of survey works, geotechnical works (SPT method), material tests and analysis in the Laboratory and helped in the preperation of feasibility report of the Project.

Was involved in the project management and supervision of construction of seven highway projects consisting of:

(i) 1st Ring Road ( 10km long, 2-way with 5-lanes,) in the periphery of Kuwait City including Palace costing US$ 20.00 million funded by Govt. of Kuwait, (ii) 2nd Ring Road (15km long, 2-way with 5-lanes) in Seaside to Jahra, costing US $30,00 million funded by Govt of Kuwait, (iii) 3rd Ring Road ( 25km long, 2-way with 5-lanes) in Seaside to West of Kuwait, costing US$ 50.00 million funded by Govt of Kuwait (iv) 4th Ring Road ( 30km long, 2-way with 5-lanes) in Seaside to West of Kuwait and about 10km from 3rd Ring Road, costing US$ 60.00 million funded by Govt of Kuwait,.(v) 5th Ring Road ( 40km long, 2-way with 5-lanes) in Seaside to West, costing US$ 80.00 million funded by Govt of Kuwait, (vi) ) 6th Ring Road (60km long, 2-way with 5-lanes) in Seaside to West of Kuwait, costing US$ 120.00 million funded by Govt of Kuwait, (vii) 7th Ring Road (70km long, 2-way with 5-lanes) in Seaside to West of Kuwait and south of 6th Ring Road, costing US$ 140.00 million funded by Govt of Kuwait.

Responsibilities also included in the supervision of all material testings in the central government laboratory: laboratory eg
1) Cement: Fineness, Autoclave, Normal Consistency, Time of Setting, Absorpsion, Soundness, Sand Equivalent etc.
2) Coarse Aggregate: Absorption, Sp. gr.,Unit wt., Los Angeles, Soundness, Design of all combined gradation etc, Desgn of all type of concrete mixes
3) Steel: All tests in accordance with ASTM and BS
4) Soil: Liquid Limit, PL, PI, CBR and other tests 5) Asphalt/ Bitumin:
All asphalt tests and checking of mix design.

Reviewed bidding documents with the contract drawing. Evaluated and prepared variation orders and supplementary agreements. Prior to any scheduled interim payment, responsible for inspecting actual quantity of authorized completed work accepted under the contract without any defect. Was also responsible for the contract administration and certification of Interim bill.

Badra-Jassan Irrigation Project, Ministry of Irrigation, IRAQ

Supervised the construction of "Badra- Jassan" project. The scope of the project was to build about 100 km of embankments for motorable service road, canals with concrete lining, large pump houses, buildings etc costing about US$ 140.00 million (funded by the Govt of IRAQ). As a Senior Engineer supervised the Geo-technical works of Badra-Jassan Project for the construction of embankment, roads etc. Supervised the construction of about 100 km long embankment with motorable concrete road at the top, irrigation canal with concrete lining works, interlock sheet piling works for a large pump house etc. Supervised the construction of residential houses of the project, drainage and water supply line, overhead water tank etc. Helped and supervised the laboratory tests of all concrete, cement, soil, fine and coarse aggregates. Designed concrete mixes of different strength, combined gradation of fine and coarse aggregates.

The scope of the project was to protect the area from flood, to irrigate the land, development of communication as well as improvement of navigation. Supervised the construction of about 80km long embankment, 30 nos sluices and culverts, 30km long inter link and internal roads ( mostly asphaltic road ), dredging of canal works. Responsibilities included contract administration, negotiated cost of materials with the contract agencies prior to final agreement. Analysed and made comment on the "Meghna- Gumti Project", updated and prepared "Manu River Project". Supervised construction of multistoried buildings, civil works of power station, bridges. In addition, prepared and issued variation orders for any supplementary works.

Supervised the construction of 110km long embankment with proper compaction of average 8m crest width and average of 12m height, the construction of number of multistoried buildings, store house, overhead tank for the colony etc. Supervised the construction of about 10 km asphaltic road of the project area, culverts, bridges, manufacture of bricks, maintenance and protection works, Geotechnical investigation etc Controlled the quality of works by constant testing of soil, concrete, asphaltic materials in the field laboratory. Responsibility also included in the management of the project.
