Taipei City. All bridges were built by free cantilevering with spans ranging from 50 to 180 m.

1993-1994 European CACEB, HEIDRUN tension leg platform, Norway Consulting Engineer. Responsible for providing consulting services for Conoco for the HEIDRUN tension leg platform (TLP). Surveillance and review of contractor's detailed design. HEIDRUN is the world's first concrete TLP and has the heaviest topside (65,000 t) ever. Furthermore, it is the first concrete platform built of high strength LWA concrete.

1992 European CACEB, TROLL offshore platform, Norway Member of special task force. Responsible for special design tasks for the TROLL GBS including preparation of design documents to assure no loss of the platform and flexi-joints for the main support frame. The TROLL GBS is the world's largest offshore structure with a water depth of 303 m.

1990-1991 Giersing Rose A/S, Denmark Responsible for the implementation of a newly developed quality information system for the Great Belt Link. This included preparation of manuals and training of staff.

Concept studies for alternative design of a submerged tunnel across the Sound from Denmark to Sweden.

Responsible for managing bridge substructure design for the Great Belt East Bridge.

Management of conceptual studies for concrete platforms for Norsk Hydro's license areas in the Danish sector of the North Sea and in an ice-exposed area in the Baltic Sea.

Detailed design of 8 prestressed concrete motorway bridges in Denmark. The design was done by aid of the specially developed computer program, IBDAS.

Tender design of suspension bridge across the Korinth Strait in Greece.

* rehabilitation projects for old railway bridges.

* design and supervision of steel outfitting structures in a bored tunnel under the Copenhagen Harbour for the Copenhagen District Heating System.

* detailed design of 3 prestressed concrete motorway bridges. Span lengths for largest bridge: 3 x 27 m. Width: 14 m.

1983-1985 Danalith, Denmark Engineer in Design Group. Responsible for design of major steel and concrete structures.

Responsible for the following work:

* detailed design of anthracite store of steel frames (50 m span) in Turkey according to German building codes.

* various tender designs of buildings for cement plant in Indonesia.

* design of a prefabricated prestressed concrete bridge for heavy vehicles.

* design of steel conveyor bridges for cement plant in Ain-Touta in Algeria.

* detailed design of silos and other concrete structures for cement plant in Ain-Touta in Algeria. The designs included earthquake calculations.

* detailed design of clay and limestone stores of steel frames (35-60 m span) in Algeria according to French building codes.

1980-1983 Norwegian Offshore Consultants, Norway MOBIL's representative on the "Statfjord Gas Project" with responsibility for the structural design including transport and lifting.
