I am a licensed civil engineer with accumulated eight years of company experience. Last 1997, I worked at a private firm as office engineer, which trained me to construction costing materials and structural computer aided design (CAD). Last March 2000, I joined the DOTC – Project Implementation Unit with the Davao International Airport Project as technical assistant that exposed me to various office tasks. Presently, being part of the GEM -2 program indeed teaches me to several technical tasks. My primary role as technical assistant for Contracts enhanced my capability of doing technical works. Later I was given a higher responsibility as contracts specialist that involves me in the bid evaluation and negotiation process particularly in the community infrastructure projects and formerly involved in the preparation of necessary documents and likewise, evaluation of variation orders for mid-scale infrastructure projects.

January 3, 2005 – Present, Contracts Specialist, USAID-funded Growth with Equity in Mindanao 2 (GEM2) Program, The Louis Berger Group Phils., Inc. Responsible for the evaluation of contractors' pre-qualification documents and its correspondence/request for USAID approval; Administers bid openings in Central Mindanao and recently most in Northern Mindanao areas; Evaluates and negotiates bid proposals of contractors which includes bid post-qualification; Evaluates purchase order quotations for the remaining works of terminated projects; Conducts pre-construction meetings of the newly awarded community infrastructure projects for contractors and proponents' orientation/reminders of their counterpart in the implementation of the projects; Formulates addendum/bid bulletin for any modification of the invitation for bids; Formerly involved in the evaluation of variation orders for mid-scale infrastructure projects; and, Facilitates other activities as directed by the Contracts Manager.------------
