Responsibilities:
ü Carrying out surveys of plant and buildings in relation to existing or proposed controls and instrumentation. Writing of reports activity and progress.
ü Provide best practice solutions and carry out control system investigations when required (DCS/SCADA/PLC/F&G/ESD etc)
ü Liaison with Operations and Maintenance staff, as per Construction Manager instructions.
ü Checking of project related drawings and documents for compliance with site requirement.
ü Inspection of project materials, including impulse piping, cables, enclosures, and all related fixings, labels, brackets, frames, terminations, etc. which have been supplied by Contractors or directly purchased by the Company. Inspection of storage conditions for materials.
ü Following the construction works on site, and checking status reports and progress reports which the Contractors have prepared. Inspecting the finished works and advising the Instrument Manager of any instrument related problems, and of possible techniques for resolving these problems. Testing and Calibration equipment and procedures.
ü Technical advise the Contractor and Subcontractor to follow the Company rules and procedures on construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning stage.

* Coordinating with Construction Supervisor project plan drawing review-having AFC drawing officially approved documentation.
* Represent Company during weekly meeting concerning schedule plan activity and project plan on all tools and equipment needed for construction.
* Assigned to Review all Subcontractor Technical Documentation Circulation prior approval to all concerned lead official.
* Ensured instrument equipment works complied with project specifications, company procedures, method statements and quality assurance and controls documentation (strictly implementing the ISO 2000 and ISO 9000).
* Supervised and monitoring the flow of inspection on-site and calibration prior to meet the project deadline.
* Tasks to monitor all subcontractor activity priors for deadline start of Instrumentation Workload.
* Able to analyzed every area to be survey and witness prior for RFI to be offered to the main client for inspection.
* Assigned to witnessing repair and calibration of instrumentation, commissioning of the following equipment: Smart Flow, pressure, temperature, level transmitters, different control valves, pressure gauges and Fire & Gas alarms.
* Analogue and digital controllers Fire&Gas detection/protection systems,
* ESD (Emergency shutdown), Pneumatic and hydraulic shutdown panels and control systems.

* Project Duties included review of loop folders for final acceptance by the QA/QC Dept. before transferring to Commissioning.
* To undertake inspection of vendor skids before final acceptance by client.
* On-site audits of subcontractor.

* Followed all safety practices and procedures and corrected unsafe work practices
* Fully conversant with relevant International (ANSI, ASTM, API, BSI, IP, ISO, IEC, IEEE etc.) standards.
