Professional Qualification:

Master Degree of Environmental Sciences from University of Lucknow -Lucknow
Diploma in Construction Safety Management from National Institute of construction Management and research - NICMAR
Diploma in Industrial Safety Management
First Aid Training from Saint John Ambulance
Internal Auditor for OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001

Key Responsibility Areas:

Establishment of Health, Safety and Environment Management function:
Undertake preliminary studies (Job safety analysis, hazard identification assessment etc.) to assess and predict Safety, Health and Environment Risks
Analyze Environmental impact assessment conducted by client and develop Environmental Management Action plan; Ensure approval of the same.
Develop Preventive mechanisms to minimize risks and hazards, prepare Emergency Preparedness and Response plans, and test the same through mock drills.
Rapid Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the concrete batching and hot mix plants as per guidelines of Environmental Protection Act-EPA, Getting clearance- NOC and consent for the operation from the Authorities-Pollution Control Board etc. for the Storage of hazardous material and operation of the Batching as well as hot mix plants. Emergency plans for the safety audits as per BIS standards.
Establish SHE department, systems and processes.

Monitoring HSE compliance, Preventive and Corrective action:
Continuously interaction with Site and various project departments inspect and monitor to ensure HSE compliance.
Implement Environment management action plan and constantly analyze the outcome of various initiatives
Liaison with external entities that facilitate environment management
Obtain feedback from Section in charge, etc. and suggest improvements/take corrective actions wherever required
Conduct Weekly and monthly HSE meetings.
Review and revise existing plans and systems and incorporating changes suggested in the HSE meets.
Accidental prone area identification and their safety measures as per IS codes and guidelines of technical specification-Ministry of Road Transport and Highways-Govt. of India. Safety as well traffic management in Construction Zone as per IS Code--SP-55
Environmental enhancement plan as per Environmental management plan.
Maintain accident severity and incidence records of industrial accidents. Procurement of safety appliances and their effective utilization. Establishment of fire prevention and protection system.
Ensure timely documentation of compliance to SHE norms

Undertake Community Initiatives for SHE awareness
Support Community HSE awareness programs by street plays, seminars and collaborating with the local bodies.

HSE Training for Employees, Sub Contractors and PRW SHE awareness and preparedness
Develop SHE training material and periodical training calendar
Conduct Training sessions for SHE awareness and compliance as per calendar
Conduct training programs with external trainers, as required.
Responsible for safe and environmental friendly functioning of the quarry and crusher operations.
Environment and Safety Management Plans Execution, Monitoring and Compliance.
Preparation of Environmental and Safety Statement and Plans.
