(LAS is a family of integrated, real-time financial modules. It is a commercial off-the-shelf software (COTS) from Emphasys 6, Australia. DHL IT Services developed some functionality like financial reports and data extraction i.e. Local Accounting Tree (LTE) and LAS libraries.)
Job Scope

As Project Manager – manage projects, typically involving the development and implementation of information systems to meet identified customer needs, managing resources and vendors.
As Bid Manager, liaised with Account Manager, Service Planner, Solutions Support, vendor and Technical Services Group to provide estimates during bid process.
Involved in system analysis and design of LAS based on user requirement.
Produced high level and detailed technical design specifications during analysis phase. Prepared System Requirement Statement, Maintenance Release document and High Level Design document to be passed to vendor for implementation of build phase.
Liaised with vendor in Sydney to ensure system changes are correct and business requirements are met during build phase.
Performed technical documentation review and program review to ensure software quality and design specifications are met.
Execute System Testing, Quality Assurance (QA) Testing and Performance Testing according to System Test Specification.

(PROSPER toolkit comprises of 4 different components i.e. COMPASS (Country Margin and Pricing Analysis System), PET (Price Evaluation Tool), MMS (Margin Management System) and NCD (Network Cost Database). It is a country-specific program that enables measurement and management of pricing, costing and profitability. PROSPER is used globally.
