MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for conducting quarterly safety inspections of all mobile equipment that includes Mobile cranes, Manlifts, Scissor lifts, Boom trucks, Lift Trucks, Earth moving Equipment and Haulage vehicles as per applicable OSHA/ASNI/ASME/ API standards.
- Witnessing the commissioning operational and proof load tests of all new Overhead Bridge and Jib cranes in the LNG Train1 Plant as per ASME B30.2, B30.11, B30.16 &B30.17 and CMAA Spec. 70,
- Conduct lifting and rigging equipment inspections as per different international standards and specifications
- Conducting instructional and hands-on training sessions and evaluations of operators & technicians.
- Develop and manage processes to determine lifting competence of key contractors like Bechtel. CB&I, E&I CCC, Incat etc. Maintenance and legislation of industry practices, Company rules and HSE regulations for lifting and hoisting, monitoring their compliance etc.
- Leading the equipment incident investigations in order to prevent reoccurrence.
- Ensuring sufficient and suitable resources and equipment are available to complete testing to agreed schedules.
- Pre-purchase evaluation of Bechtel used Mobile Cranes, Manlifts, Scissor Lifts, Boom Trucks etc.
