This is major development for Jumeirah Village II project which consists of several phases. It involves laying and testing of all utility services, chilled water pipe lines with deep chamber for valves(5m x 5m ave. size), structures related with landscaping, water feature, civil works related with children play facility, thrust blocks, manhole chambers.

My nature of works was construction supervision, controlling of quality of works at site,coordinating with project management team in order to solve site issues, notifying to my senior if any working method was deviated from contract specification.

Performing inspection to ensure the quality of works as per approved quality control
Procedures and test plan

Checking of shop drawing for Bar bending schedule of concrete structures, utility services plan and profile. Method statement review as to confirm contract specifications and standards during initial stage of project.

RFI approval and tracking of approved work activities in order to find missing activities, work done Quantity checking, evaluating of percentage of work done

Attending the project co ordination meeting with client and project management team

Issuing site instruction / memos, progress update and review, handing over of services,

Project 2: Burjuman Centre Expansion Project, Dubai
Client: BJC

I was involved in the package of 20 +storied building which is adjacent to existing burjuman centre. This is office tower with internal all dry partition wall; external facade of glass; roof top with nice landscaping of palm trees partially covered with structural work. External wall with high standard stones, floors are with marbles, water features faced along front elevation of building.

I was in the one of the team of Quality control and project management as civil engineer role. My major work focus towards inspection of every section of works upon submission of RFI's, co ordinate with various discipline contractors, supporting seniors with on site information time to time, issuing letters/ memos for reasons of poor quality, lack of progress, co ordination etc.

Responsiblities and duties:

My nature of work was routine inspection of quality of concrete works in successive floors, steel checking in line with approved shop drawing, ensuring approved construction procedures are following, check the materials used at site, raising of NCR in the event of poor quality of works, co ordinate with design team in case of any dispute or clash within shop drawing, co ordinate with authorities for the service connection, assuring of general safety procedures required for multistory building, preparing of snags and follow up, reporting to construction manager.

Project: Palm island, Jumeirah, Dubai
Position: Site Engineer ( Civil) (Client: Nakheel)

This project consists of construction of luxury homes in various fronds of palm island, modern homes with swimming pool, elevation added with GRC fixtures, high quality finish work, substations and Soil improvement works using vibro compaction methods on dredging soil prior to start of construction.

My work was assuring of QA/QC procedures to be followed at site always, confirm the ongoing activities are with approved method statement, check the materials used at site, witnessing of trial mix for concrete design, shop drawing review, verifying the test results of compressive strength of concrete, Assisting QS team with up to date information of actual progress which will determine the payment of bill to contractors.

Responsiblities and duties:

Checking and approval of shop drawings for concrete structure
Preparation of non conformance reports, site instruction issuing and follow ups
Routine quality check up to improve the quality

This is one of the major infra development projects comprising of all services of sewer,
Water, drainage, Irrigation including of manhole chambers, valves installation etc.

My works focused mainly on inspection of site activities, covers all utility services laying, testing and asphalt roads, hard and soft landscaping; attended in the meeting for progress review and site co ordination; Involved in asphalt base and wearing course for marshal testing in Dubai municipality laboratory; attended the field density test for soil compaction of trench back filling, road base and sub base.

* Inspection of civil works such as sewer manholes, pumping station, DEWA substations, ETC chambers, etc.
* Inspection of lakes liners laying and testing, interconnected pipe lines
* handing over of services to the client with the co ordination of contractor
* Prepare daily activity report, reporting to RE

4. Alia Contracting, Dubai
Project 1: Construction of Water Reservoir, Pumping station, R.O Plant

This project comprise of water reservoir construction along with pump station, R.O Plant, GRP raw water tank, water line Network for Hatta Town.

Responsibilities and duties:

1. Plans, assigns and supervises the work of professional and clerical personnel

Project 3: Administrative building, Pumping station in Najma, Dubai(Client: Dewa)

Construction of pump station for boosting line pressure of waterline 900 dia AC pipe which feeding supply to Dubai. It includes of service block and meter bench building and valve chambers, thrust blocks and GRP network in side the Pump station.

Responsibilities and duties:

Prepare the work programme and construction supervision for pumping station control room and sub station buildings
Building of cable trenches, manholes, valve chambers and related civil works
Preparation of shop drawing for bar bending schedules, architectural details and lay out for external works showing storm water flow, interlocking pavement, pathway etc. and getting out approval from client
Material submittal for civil works
Co ordinate with client, consultant and other departments of project

Project 4: Low Cost Housing project, Rahba, Abudhabi
Project value: 28 million (Client: PWD)

worked as site engineer for the above project and having responsible for steel and form work, details to sub contractors and concerned supervisors.
