Over 26 years of skills, education and professional experience with large and small scale industrial plants, utility design, maintenance and operation, with 10 years Utility Engineering instruction experience at a local Technical College. Major areas of responsibility include Capital Project and Program Management, employee training and supervision, mechanical as-built and P & ID Draftsman, and 7 years in Biotech Engineering. * Monitor, troubleshoot, & repair multiple boiler systems including large A, D, & O type water tube boilers.

* Create, modify, and maintain necessary documentation to meet FDA standards and reporting requirements.
* Proficient knowledge of cGMP Requirements, ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, and National Boiler Inspection Code.
* Programming, maintenance and monitoring of Computerized Security and DDC control Systems.
* Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive tool and inventory tracking system.

Assistant Facilities Manager May 2003 - May 2006
Under the guidelines and regulations of the FDA and other regulatory agencies, provided overall direction and coordination of facilities operations for two satellite locations. Responsibilities included facilities maintenance, interior design and overall control of computerized security systems. Worked closely with Environmental Health and Safety personnel in the development and implementation of facilities safety policies and evacuation procedures. Coordinated necessary personnel to assure that preventive maintenance, reactive repairs, and long term renewal of the facilities were maintained. Developed long and short range plans for routine maintenance, energy management, and non-operating and capital projects. Assisted management in design plans, management of renovation projects, and provided on site construction supervision.
Engineering Consultant January 1999 – May 2003
Responsible for ensuring all building equipment and mechanical systems complied with published requirements. Further responsibilities included the review, modification and creation of mechanical as-built, P & ID drawings of clean utilities, HVAC, and refrigeration systems and bioprocess equipment, as well as mechanical, electrical and control systems. Review, creation and implementation of Master Equipment files, SOP's, IQ's, employee training programs, job descriptions and equipment logs for recording machinery history to meet cGMP requirements. Evaluated equipment inventory needs, worked closely with outside vendors, created databases, assisted in Y2K readiness, and repaired equipment and systems as needed.

Service/ Business Manager - Northwest Boiler August 1995 - February 1996
Managed business affairs of regional office including service crew supervision, processing payroll, invoice and billing documentation. Performed quality control duties on government contracted jobs. Implemented and supervised chemical treatment programs for customer and company owned boilers and related heating/cooling equipment. Designed, installed and repaired operational and interlocking safety control devices and safety systems. Prepared and evaluated service contracts, bids and proposals. Purchasing Agent/Technical Support - Bosler Energy Systems February 1994 - May 1995
Responsibilities included the management of all company tools, equipment and materials in addition to all material procurement activities. Devised, implemented and managed a comprehensive tool and inventory tracking system. Provided technical and engineering support to customers and service crew. Evaluated bids and specifications of contracted services and installation jobs. Calculated time and material estimates, negotiated contacts with vender and suppliers, supervised shop service crew and managed rental boiler fleet. Responsible for keeping Operations Manager apprised of job costs and current project status.
HVAC Technician/Heating Specialist - Bellevue School District July 1988 - February 1994
Supervised the safe, efficient and economical operation, maintenance and repair of districts heating and HVAC systems in 32 separate facilities, which included 40 boilers and related equipment in 24 facilities. Reviewed designs and specifications of new equipment and control system upgrades. Calibrated and repaired pneumatic, low-voltage, electronic, microprocessing and DDC controls. Trained all related personnel and assured that public relations received the highest priority.
Boiler Specialist - Overlake Hospital August 1986 - July 1988
Acted as Engineering Department mechanical systems liaison during construction of new surgery wing. This included the conversion of an antiquated mechanical utility system located in two separate locations to a state-of-the-art mechanical system located in a single location. Supervised the safe, efficient and economical operation, maintenance and repair of eight boilers, five cooling towers and related equipment. Trained maintenance personnel in the proper operation of equipment, created and implemented a chemical treatment program for all equipment. Worked closely with contractors, mechanical engineers, underwriters, state and local officials.
