I have worked with 2 HRSG(Heat Recovery Steam Generator) made by NEM with horizontal gas flow design and three pressure levels and re-heat.I was involved in commissioning and start up of HRSG's like DCS Operator.My tasks were regarding and operating the DCS(latest type of General Electric)system and safety valves checking.
- To assure the correct running of boilers.
- Maintains and promotes high standards of work targeted to achieving safe, optimal process performance.
- Supervising the plant process parameter in order to meet the production requirements.
- Closely monitors critical process parameters, process performance and efficiency, initiating changes as necessary through subordinate work teams.
- Monitors abnormal process and plant conditions, incidents, hazards or emergencies; initiates and supervises action to correct or contain same, reporting incidents and near misses per procedure.
- Troubleshoots isolated and recurring process and equipment upsets in consultation with NEM commissioning team, subordinate personnel, process and maintenance experts.
